  3. In the classic brainiac style: heres one for you. I've been thinking about this: Why dont you just run the A/C on the LO setting. then, when the temp inside of the car is BELOW the temp you want it to be, press Recirculate mode and then press EC or ECON.That way, your keepint the cool air inside and the hot air outside.....you would only need to switch it back to A/C when the temp's gone up a bit. What do y'all think? money saving?
  4. urm, what do you guys think of this deal? Galaxy, Ghia Diesel Automatic 1999 T Plate 65k miles, FSH:
  5. yeh, i know its the air con but i was wondering whether there could be something else wrong with it apart from gas or compresser.... By the way i've bought it anyway....the a/c still works REALLY WELL....
  6. are you sure? or could there be any other possibilities?
  7. HELP! I'm about to buy a galaxy (in 1 HOUR'S time!!!!!!).....i noticed that the climate control display flashed several times upon startingthe engine just as I went for a test drive......does this mean that theres a problem? or is it standard?
  8. 3 TONNES???? I never knew it was that heavy. Well that obviously explains why the 0-60 times are appauling! :)
  9. I've heard this from someone but i'm not quite sure: You must have reinforced tyres on this type of vehicle otherwise your insurance is invalid at all times. Is this true? in which case: first of all no one told me this when I bought my car and secondly how do the tyre people know that it needs reinforced tyres??????????????
  10. thanks for the info! What do you mean by just inside the door its only single cc?
  11. I've gota question, is the left side or the right side of the climate control for that back? Also, where are the rear air vents? I know there is one vent for the back, right behind the handbrake but are there more anywhere else?
  12. Do you mean glodal closing with the key fully turned, or global closing with the remote button pressed? Also if anyone can tell me last minute checks before I buy it then I would be grateful. By the way what is the difference between a Ghia and a Ghia X (T reg, 1999)
  13. Urm, could someone please tell me what the difference is between mk1, mk2 ect. Ive got (nearly, going to get tomorrow) a T plate 1999 galxay ghia and i dont know what mk it is......... Also, on my old car, (sharan, 96 p reg) the manual said that if you press the lock button on the remote control, all the windows would close. the problem is that that car didnt have R/C/L and my new one does but can sumone tell me if opening/closing the windows is possible with the remote control? Before I part with my money are there any final checks I should do? it is an auto so its quite rare and its only done 65K.....
