  1. My central locking has stopped working, I've removed the gaiter plug and found a wire that's removed itself from the small sockets. How on earth to I get the plug/gaiter back in, every time I attempt to push it back in before twisting back in it's pushing the part which is in the door frame back into the car. I hope this makes sense
  2. Thanks Colin. How did you access them, from inside or via the wheel arch?
  3. Just had a glance, is it worth removing the plastic inside the wheel arch to get to it?
  4. I'll have a look in the week. Thanks guys
  5. It's been doing it for months, on and off. Does it all the time now though. I'll have to check the rear matrix. How do I access that please?
  6. It has rear AirCon yes. How do I access the pipes to check where the leak is coming from?
  7. Hi all I have this water leaking from around the near side rear wheel arch. Always seems to be there. I do have to keep topping up the coolant but a can't imagine it's leaking here, although I'm open to ideas lol definitely not the washer as I know that is currently disconnected in the passenger footwell.

  9. Well this morning I went out to work and it was locked, I left it unlocked yesterday. All seems to be opening and locking fine again
  10. This has happened before and seemed to clear The remote doesn't lock the car, if you press the unlock button the indicators flash so I'd assume the key is working. I tried lock the car manually with the key in the lock, it locked for about 3 seconds then unlocked again. Any ideas?
  11. I run mine between 40-45 that's what it says on the sticker on the door sill
  12. Hello It's been a while, does anyone have any idea the best way to replace the wing mirror indicator on a 2005 mk2 VW Saharan. Thanks
  13. This has now SOLD. not been on here for months!
  14. A breaker bar is your friend for many jobs I've found!!
  15. SPARES OR REPAIR Still in everyday use but needs attention. Handbrake isn't great, new cables require and supplied. Cuts out at times but has never not restarted. Steering wonders a little, clonking from the offside front when turning heavy. Gearbox isn't great, difficult to select 1st and 4th New front discs and pads No engine warning lights Clutch replaced around 40,000 miles ago Fuel pump replaced 2 years ago Drivers door look doesn't work central locking works off the internal buttons only. Boot lock doesn't work only from the buttons. As I said still possible to use it daily, but long term it would need some attention. Failing that, use it for parts. £400 need it gone by Saturday if possible.
  16. I hired a Golf Couple of weeks ago..... Stunning drive and it was petrol but The seating position is no good for me though at 6'5" so I either need another Galaxy or I'm going for a Tiguan.
  17. I keep thinking of getting a Tiguan it would have the be the TDi R line though I think
  18. Are the newer 2.0l VW engines as good as the 1.9? In Sharans and Alhambra I mean
  19. Usually a replacement cluster is the way to fix it quite common for them to fail
  20. I won't be bothering with that then lol I never even knew it was supposed to have one before seeing this thread.
  21. It's never been on there in the last 18 months. I've order all 3 cables I just wondered if it was really required?
  22. Ha haaaaa fingers crossed. Still gotta service it and replace handbrake cable though. When does it end?
