  1. Perfectly normal. It's just water draining from the outside of the air con condenser (I think that's the right part). If you look under the bonnet and look at the bulkhead, about two thirds to the right, you will see the drain. I put a small length of hose on mine so it drips directly onto the floor rather than running down the bulkhead. It proves that your air con is working ;)
  2. I believe the fuses for the front cigarette light and rear power socker are under the front drivers seat. It's something I've read on this forum somewhere.
  3. I've got a 1999 (V) Mondeo Zetec 2000cc up for sale, probably too small for Mumof4. 81k, cam belt done, new exhaust and working air con. New MOT. It was my son's car but he can no longer afford to run it. Reasonable offers accepted.
  4. Tried the Nationwide Breakers for some alloys for my son's Citroen. What a load of crap I received and tried in vane to get my money back. Trouble with these breakers is that most of the vehicles are accident damaged and the damage to the part you buy is not always apparent.
  5. For a PD engine the oil must be to VW Spec 505.01 or greater.
  6. IIRC it is somewhere under the driver's seat.
  7. Look for a broken ABS ring on the CV joints.
  8. Can't help with the bonnet problem unless you try a dent remover tool. From what I've heard on this forum about chips, forget it. They cause loads of problems including knackering your engine. Other people have "remapped" the ECU but this too gives problems. The insurance company wouldn't like it either. The Galaxy is fast enough in my view, especially with the kids in the back.
  9. You could always try a local locksmith.
  10. You could try copying the whole disk to a folder on your hard drive and then run install from there. I've had to do this with some programs in the past. I'm sure I've had running under Vista myself. Now running Windows 7 RC 64bit so can't try it.
  11. Try going to the wininstall folder and run wininstall.
  12. It could be that the assembly has become detached from the levelling motor. You may have to remove the whole headlight assembly for a better look.
  13. I know you wasn't too keen on my views, however, "stupid" electrical problems can be caused by dodgy earth connections. I'm not sure where the earthing points are in that area but give it a try.
  14. As far as I know after market HID's are illegal. You also require headlamp washers and self levelling suspension as per factory fit.
  15. I had a damaged box which I sent to member "spfeno" a few weeks back so he could repair his. I don't know how to track a member down on the forum but if you could I'm sure he would stick the rubber feet in the post for you. Good luck.
  16. Wow, his Galaxy has done 445k.........................
  17. If you use a couple of wooden clothes peg halves you can prise the clock forward out of it's housing without damaging the plastic. You do not need to remove the surround. You will then see a lamp fitting. You can buy these from most accessory shops. Note the bulb is part of the holder and can't be separated. Hope this helps.
  18. I would also say they are the same. The only difference being what's bolted to it. I have replaced a Focus manual engine with one from an auto. Just removed the torguey bits and fitted the flyweel.
  19. Just another thought. Has the vehicle ever had a mobile phone fitted? Maybe something is muting the system.
  20. It is more likely a fault on the radio. Very unlikely that all door speakers have failed. Do you know someone with a radio like yours that you can try?
  21. You said in one of your posts that you get a "long tone". Speaker working then........
  22. If all the speakers aren't working I would suggest the fault is at the radio and not in the doors, if it was one door I would agree. Make sure you have the radio code and then check all connections on the back of the radio.
  23. If the car has W rated tyres and the manual also says W rated then that's what you should fit. I too have a 130 and my manual states W for the size of wheel. What price do you put on your family's lives!
  24. I've read on this forum that if you put a finger on the sensors, one at a time, you can feel them clicking. Have you tried this as one sensor out messes everything up.
