Apparently there is quite a business in sourcing part worns from Germany where I have heard that if you have to replace one tyre they all have to be changed so that the tread depths are the same all round. Costly business but it means that there is a steady supply of what could be nearly new tyres that are illegal in Germany but not here. :D Andy.

  14. Hi Terry, one of my gripes when changing from the Mk1 to the Mk2 was the loss of this very useful function, I'm pretty sure it cant be done, just got to keep the mental arithmetic upto scratch. :rolleyes: Andy.

  21. Welcome to the forum. Remote audio controls are fitted into the multifunction steering wheel along with cruise controls but that is an expensive option. I dont know if a retro fit is possible or if the multifunction wheel had to be factory fitted. :D Andy.
