IIRC Ivor.. Fold the mirror in, then you will see a black bit which is near the bit which connects to the car..which if i remember you unclip first..the whole cover is just clipped on, you have to gently prise it away from the housing..but be warned there is one big clip in the middle which you cant see and will need a bit of force to undo.Trying to remember how i took mine off..will see if i saved the pics.What i do know is that you need to fold the mirror in to gain access to the first bit. the glass itself has connectors on the back for heated and electric movement....

I am assumeing that you have the ford 5000 model???..has a cassette slot aswell?? you can take the head unit out (make sure you have the keycode)..and try cleaning very gently with cotton buds and water to see if you missed any little globules of yop which get into every nook and cranny. Could be a blown fuse but ive no idea which one.Might be worth checking that nothing got into the electrics behind the headunit.

Fobs you may be able to get on Ebay...as for key cutting..some may, some may not....ive not had experience of this bit so cant comment but i know a few peeps have been to somewhere like timpsons????..or whatever they are called and got a key cut.,,IIRC..you need two keys to programme a third..not sure on that one though.

Have you tried a MAF with the same part number as yours as there are different MAFS for different models/years fuel variants.It is always best to try the one that is required for your car rather than trying several from different cars.Plus are you sure the second hand ones arent foobed?

I have the silver one in my veccy..Quite cool as all the dials etc light up blue. Its a Tevion sanj...( posted a link to an ebay sale of one.) I chose that one as it looked nice plus i didnt have to mess around with cds in the car much.Now all i do is put music onto my sd card and away we go for a few hours! I cant fault it at all.and for what it does..its damn cheap but it sure aint nasty and if you were looking for a stereo that does all that this one does..id recommend it......though..it is only single din so a wee bit small for the Galaxy.

Ive had a look, and the pictures were Hosted elsewhere, so unless he reposts them they cant be recovered.

she does indeed..put it in myself....has an SD slot..USB slot..CD changer compatable...radio..(not connected that bit as i dont listen to radio)..single CD player...its a wang fangled all singing all dancing thing, can connect various things to it.Pretty impressed with it really.

Ahh..i shall remove the link then. Can i ask....why do i sometimes see at night headlights that are very bright and they appear blue?i dont mean a dark blue but like a very bright blueish beam? Sometimes i can be dazzled by oncoming cars whom i think have main headlights on when they dont...i know this as i will flash them and then they flash back..to show that they dont have mains on.When that happens i have to slow down till i can see properly.Would these peeps then have fitted illegal bulbs?.Its one of the reasons why im not too fond of driving at night.

If it were me..id ask for "the thingy that covers the wotsit on the rear wiper on the bottom .Its plastic but its fell off somewhere.Would you mind coming and having a look to see , so i can identify which part i need to order.? " that might work.
