  11. heck, will have to try that one.
  12. How bad is the smoke? what colour is it? 50 quid for a glow plug!? IIRC it is supposed to smoke a bit, but mine never worked so i don't know from experience. I have read on here somewhere recently that there is a new type of glow plug which is more expensive and needs a multi plug. For the life of me i cant remember who posted it. someone with more knowledge will be able to help, but in my opinion, before you do anything, have a search on here and wait and see what the other members recommend.
  13. Bloomin eck, how can a flywheel come loose like that?? and a new clutch this year in a still relatively new car....
  14. Welcome Stuart,Look forward to hearing more from you and how you solve your problem. By the way, don't feed Big kev, he kinda goes loopy on skittles
  15. Long black connector goes into bottom of green, shorter black above it, yellow into black left.black square IIRC, goes into black left. this is all from memory, may be wrong. Just look at the shape of the connectors on the ends, and find the corresponding shaped slot.
  16. It will just plug in and play.the connectors you just have to look at the shape of them and fit them in.took me a few mins to figure it out when i first did it, but you will kick yourself once you do it.

  19. dont think he has the 6006e unit..i will have a look to see if i still have the pics on my pc of where all the connections go
  20. from memory.... The right connections first as looking at the back. they fit into the green slots.. what you have to do is look at the shape of the connectors and pair them up with the corresponding slots in the back of the new unit. the black square plug goes into the black slot on the left wehich iirc the yellow connection does aswell. they will fit in, bit like a jigsaw puzzle!, same pieces different slots. But they will all plug in. raymac has my old 6006e unit now, he will be able to tell you more as been a while since i had it.
  21. I had the 6006e, is that what you have? front loading 6 cd changer. when you reply, choose add reply not fast reply, there will be an option with browse next to it, click browse and select your pics, then select upload you should be able to take out the old unit and plug in the new one.even though the slots at the back will be slightly different
  22. Heck, have you checked the oil level? they have a tendancy to over fill the buggers.
  23. is it petrol?diesel? model?year?
  24. Nowt wrong with my sat nav, its nice and comfy sat in my bedroom ( its on my PDA )..i just kinda like seeing on an atlas where im supposed to be opposed to where i actually am :angry2: But i guess they do have their uses.....
