  2. Storage????did i miss something??is there some other little cubby ive missed??? I love my Gal...even more since i passed my test and could drive her without hubby looking over my shoulder.I like the height, the comfy seats, and i especially love the fact that with the music on in the front i cant hear the kids killing each other in the back seats! :D Plus...i can take her apart and make her better
  3. Oh ye of little faith!!!!!!....*dancing a jig* I FIXED IT!!!!!!!!! I took the top off....took the free disc out ( )....plugged it in and hey presto!!! YEEHAW!!!....I know..didnt take much....BUT IT WORKS!!!!..im soooo happy now. I sat in the car grinning like a cheshire cat.Hubby had to drag me in to stop me playing with it!!! :D :D :D :D :D
  4. I know that mo old teach worked from 7 in the morn to 9 at night 6 days a week, sometimes 7 if he had tests on a monday. He used to work with BSM,but left as he said that he had to pay them 500 a week just for the privalaige of their name/car etc...He works long hours but his costs are competitive as he charges 18 an hour, which is the lowest round here.He would get frustrated at people forgetting or probs with the car which took it off the road...every hour its off the road is less money to earn. One time the car went off the road an hour b4 a test,so not only did he lose that hour..he had to refund the test fee to the person taking the test, then he lost 3 days as that is how long the car was off the road for.Its a hard job made glamourous by all the advertisements of making hundreds a week. If you want to work less hours=higher lesson fees=less students=lost money!.
  5. aww matt..sounds like you've had a rotten day. I know my instructure used to get fed up with that.
  6. Oh yes..and so far all the peeps that have pulled out on me/cut me up/yelled at me nearly reversed into me(as if you couldnt miss my gal), tailgated me..they have all been female!!
  7. I must say..that all the arrogant, risk taking, "forgotten that indicaters actually work",aggresive ,pully out on you ,cut you up,drivers that i have come across are female. I have so far found that yes men can be just as bad,but not to the extent i have found the female drivers. My one pet hate is others not using their indicaters!!!
  8. thickos???????You teach learners to drive.....well...so far ive found that i have a lot of sympathy for learners on the road and usually i can tell how long they have been learning for. But calling em thickos i think is a bit strong.we all got to start somewhere and relearn hand eye coordination!!
  9. well....one benefit there is that i get the bed to myself!! Well..hes never got any money...coz ive got it all  He did give me the car...a decision that he wholey regrets.he still pays 4 it tho!! :D
  10. No probs..i know all about MAFs...and wiper linkages...and umm.....how to overfill a car with oil and disconnect a battery!!oh...nope..thats it!
  11. it just sems that one gap is so much wider than the other..hubbys pinched the car to go watch footy at a mates..when he gets back i think ill measure em.Peace of mind 4 me really as i dont want someone trying to break in thru the gap coz my alarm isnt working!!it doesnt make a sound even though i left a window open and a door was not shut properly.
  12. yes you can..you need to protect the gold thingies on the plug though so they dont get covered in muck. Ours was disconnected 4 months till we remembered to get a new one!
  13. yup thats it.
  14. Ok..ive noticed this on my beloved gal..not sure if its the norm tho so just asking. When my rear tailgate is shut, there is a wider gap on one side than the other..i.e..i can see the thingys that make it go up and down on one side thru the gap but i cant on the other side where the slight gap is.Otherwise it is flush all the way round. Can someone have a looksie at their tailgate when shut to see if it is the same????the gap wider on one side ?..on the longer bit i mean and not the bit above the bumper??? Cheers, Marian.

  22. You're green, the colour of growth and vigour. Good-hearted and giving, you have a knack for finding and bringing out the best in people. Green is the most down-to-earth colour in the spectrum -- reliable and trustworthy. People know they can count on you to be around in times of need, since your concern for people is genuine and sincere. You take pride in being a good friend. For you, success is measured in terms of personal achievement and growth, not by status or position. Rare as emeralds, greens are wonderful, natural people. It truly is your colour! What can i say?? ;)
