hmm, why do you say this? My sharans manual mentions the relevent tyres which need to be reinforced (195 and 205) but not the gal's: look at the attached picture Go ahaead then, put normal tyres on your car,then watch your insurance become invalid when you are involved in an accident.Would you put normal tyres on a 2 ton car????Reinforced or heavy load tyres..any other and you are risking your life,anyone elses in the car,and those on the road in other cars when you have a blow out!!Go to a tyre place,they will tell you if you dont believe us which you obviously dont.

Im thinking that you need new brake pads..this happened to us and we needed new brake pads and discs! (i could be wrong though) Have you checked your brake fluid level????

Your right there nik, thinking back, ours had done 51k when ours went!!i would agree to trying to see what it was like if you unplugged the maf again..remember..if no difference..maf is naffed..!! :D

Hmm..hard q here....the only supplier i know is ebay!!....usually got loads on ther,failing that, a breakers yard or salvage place..there are quite a few on the internet..24/7 being one of them.

if i was going to buy a galaxy and had 23k to spare, there is no way on this earth that i would buy the new one., it looks awful!!it no longer looks streamlined,it looks more like a bus,and it has no appeal to me at all..i dont care whats inside.....i just dont like the look of it.i would buy a gal like i have now.

too true - I tried the disconnect test and found that performance was awful - so thought the maf was ok but it kept nagging at me and enough people on the fora said that it may still be a problem so in the end I took the chance ... what a difference it was :P :D Its a 30 min job if you know what you are doing!! :D i didnt....cant remember how long it took me..had to call in the calvery at the end!! :lol: :D anyway, reading thru..it sounds like the maf..just thought id put in my 2p worth!!

Hmm...but i never chose the time...the votes did.savernake is cheap as far as i know....and having 4 kids, weve never had a holiday anyway...in fact we havent had one in 5 yrs!!!!!!I know that i wont be able to attend later in the year as hubby will be on active duty possibly in afghan...
