anyone got a diagram of what each wire does on the multiplugs on the back of the radio?? ie which one is the aeriel amp wire.

It adds a bit of individuality to the car as theres not many others the same.

maybe I should tell the dealer thats its a 130 model and they may be able to find it then.

when I was ordering my parts he needed the chassis number. so I thought he'd of been able to find it easy enough.

I have noticed a seat alhambra locally that has an extra badge on the back. Just in front on the tdi on the bottom right it has 130 in chrome lettering. I was on the phone to SEAT getting some other parts and asked about it but the parts guy said he couldn't find it? Is this an original badge or one that someone has got themselves?? It starts up as soon as the car unlocks, even when the engine is cold.

it never used to do it on my mk1. but this newer one has the pd engine, I was led to believe its crucial that there is fuel at the high pressure pump at all times or it will get damaged.

when I get in my car, before switching the ignition on I can hear an electric pump running. When you lift the bonnet it seems to be coming from around the fuel filter area. You can still hear it when you turn the engine off. I'm guessing its a diesel lift pump, am I right?

I know the plug you mean! I used to have a 99 zetec tdi 110 galaxy which also had a spare plug. It was cable tied to the maf wiring.

on my mk2 alhambra one of the switches in the back door has the little cover missing, the one with the picture of the window on. Is it possible to get this seperately? does anyone have a spare one??

thats the sort of thing I am looking at doing. What dvd player do you have? do you have any rear screens aswell. also what type of hinge is that?

I tried the mini fuse on my mk2 alhambra but it has different connections to the mk1 so won't fit. I had to use a thin piece of wire - and it works!!

Just looked at the figures I have for my old car 99 zetec tdi. I kept a record of fuel going in and mileage. Over 3000 miles I averaged 36 mpg

Is it possible for the windows on a mk2 to be closed when you lock the doors via the remote?? and can the elec folding mirrors go in also?? I used to have a vectra and someone on ebay was selling a mod to make the windows close when you operate the keyfob.

have not done maf test yet but... .. I have been out in the car today, first longish journey, did about 90 miles. mpg was 41, thats a mixture of dual carriage way(70) and a bit of in traffic/town driving. So I now think there probably isn't anything wrong, just the fact that where I live there are hills (n. wales) so I tend to use more. The last Galaxy never had mpg display, if it had of it probably would have said the same. Now I know why the impreza was so thirsty!!

Like I said I have only had it 5 days so to be honest I wouldn' know if there was a lack of power. The car I have just sold was a mk 1 zetec tdi 110 and it feels about as quick, maybe quicker than that was so I don't think its the MAF. I checked the tyre pressures today and They were only mid 20's all round so sorted that. Don't fancy a new MAF yet as if its not the fault I can't swop it back if its exchange.

Its a 2001 115bhp with 60k on. Its the tiptronic 5 speed version so theres no sport mode. The average mpg is now showing 33, so has dropped a bit but I have only had it 5 days and I reset it when I got it and as I live up a hill I use a bit going up it a few times a day. My last trip today averaged 15.6 mpg!!
