no probs kev, I think the reason there wasn't more people bidding on this was because they too probably thought it could be faulty. I px'd the car in manchester, so hopefully no one local will come knocking to see if there should of been a heater!
-
Well there we have it, Like I said, its in perfect working order. I'm a genuine person and wouldn't like to rip anyone off, I know I'd be mighty pee'd off if it happened top me. motorcarman got himself a bargain.
-
OK, I've sent you a message back now.
-
booster heater sold, congrats motorcareman - if it was you.
-
Now theres a thought!!! :D Cars going tomorrow though, won't have time.
-
no, this is my heater. I have part exed the car and as the salesman pee'd me off a bit and didn't quite offer what I wanted so I decided to take it off as he won't even know it had one. I've only just taken it off this afternoon, If anyone local wants it I can prove it works perfectly.

I don't tend to speed, not saying that I haven't I had a subaru impreza for a while so occasionally I may of done. When the kids are in the car I always take it easy. Do you know any good zafira sites? I have had a look at vxon but there doesn't seem to be many zafira owners on there.

It was a choice between a 2005 - 06 new shape but only a basic model or the gsi old shape but still a 2005 so it had to be the GSI
-
only reason I've sold it is because we don't really need seven seats but they are handy sometimes, so at least there always there with the zafira instead of having to carry them from the garage. haven't got the zafira til the weekend, maybe early next week - its the gsi so fairly quick too.
-
I've now sold my alhambra so I won't be on the site as much - I'd like to thank eberyone who contributes to this site for all the useful information they give especially booster heaters. I've now bought a vauxhall zafira - does anyone know any good sites like this one for zafira's??

I don't think I'll be bothering with the new galaxy after reading some of the problems people are getting. But what about the s max? are they the same?? do they have a dpf? I don't like these dpf's they're nothing but trouble on the vehicles we have at work so I want to keep clear of them. Any advice appreciated.

Ok had a play with it last night (vag com that is!). Managed to get the locking to open only the drivers door, also enabled trailer hitch. If anyone nearby needs any of this doing drop me an email. -
The rears have to be turned to release because they are also the handbrake. I managed to do mine with a G clamp and pliers to turn the piston. Got mintex rear pads with sensors from a local motor factors for

thanks for that big kev. something to have a play with when I get a chance. -
I have a fully working version of vag-com and was wondering if its possible to change the central locking so that it only opens the drivers door on the first key pressand opens the rest on the second. I have read about this somewhere before but can't seem to find it. thanks.

I was going to check my air bag ecu with vag com but when you try to connect it came up with a warning saying that you can damage the ecu just by trying to connect so I never bothered.
-
thanks for the pics, its the same colour as mine too so gives me a good idea how it might look.
-
Paul t, do you have a pic of the alhambra lowered 50mm please. just so I know what mine will look like if i do decide to do it (or if the wife will let me anyway)

got caught up in the flooding on friday night, Noticed one of my front foglamps wasn't working. When I had A closer look they are both about half full of water  How easy are they to remove and do I need to get them adjusted after??

My 115 auto used to average 35mpg. Since I fitted one of theose cheap ebay tuning boxes (please no insults!) I have much better, indicates on dash 57mpg and actual is around 52mpg. so, providing the engine doesn't blow up it was 20 quid well spent.
