  1. I think it is a good idea as there is a huge amount of information and it is getting harder to find the posts you require especially via searching. As more and more of the MK3's start to appear this part of the forum will grow and at the same time the older galaxy forums will shrink, eventually to be archived. Spreading the topics out will enable a much more user friendly structure. Most users just seem to click on "view new posts" which will bring up both the older galaxies and the Mk3's topics. Similar arguments could be made for people who previous owned Citroens or Renaults they would not be able to help these if they only looked in the Galaxy section. Also is their any similarities between the MK3 and the older galaxys / Sharans/ Alhambras ?
  2. Well Done, Maz...looks good. I knew you could do it.....regardless of what everyone else said.
  3. Stop whinging woman and make my tea... :(
  4. It seems that the further east you are the higher the effects. Lowestoft did manage a 2m surge at low tide and 1.5m at high tide, this seems to have been the most extreme. Walcott is just up from there and may be lower lying and more prone to being hit. Tidedata below shows Lowestoft being hit... The red is the expected value....sun-moon etc The blue is the actual measured value...difference caused by storm surge is apparent.
  5. It would certainly be more sympathy than I get at the moment..... :(
  6. Yep, scaremongering at its best...... According to my Fisherman buddies the surge was well less than 1 metre way below the 3 metres suggested by the press and government.....although 1 metre is still substantial.
  7. I would have like to seen it rise a few more metres....always fancied a house on the coast.
  8. My wiper repair...is still going strong...
  9. Don't laugh thats what I'm like at the moment....
  10. Nice to see you chose a Butch Manly name at the end there.
  11. Get your wellies on babe ! Nothing else just your wellies...oops! thinking aloud again.
  12. Its only Anglia....they are used to it. Besides can't see it being that bad not rained much recently rivers are low and should absorb the back flow on the tides. Coincidently.... Flood ......spooky..
  13. Regardless of cost ?......I think not.....when it becomes uneconomical they will cut their losses and sell it ! Kept cutting out ?.....If the engine is knackered it may be more economical to cut your losses and sell it. And also it appears to have dodgy plates on it .....
  14. True but when you buy any other car you hope it hasn't been flogged. When you buy an ex-police one.....you know it definitely has been flogged !
  15. Well I am impressed.....New license turned up today....nice and clean. Both paper and photo license. That's not bad...ordered online on the 5th arrived in the post on the 8th. They must have nothing to do at the DVLA.... :P
  16. Since you work at a police station then you should also know that their vehicles are maintained to a very high standard exceeding the manufacturers maintenance schedule and normally all documentation accompany the vehicle when sold................................and i would not hesitate in buying one if it was relatively cheap. Well maintained......but still thrashed to hell !
  17. Yep, OLD ONES ARE THE BEST..........ask the girls on this topic... :P
  18. Another one for the ladies
  19. Why, are you going to chip in a couple of thousand for me ?
  20. That would have been my next choice.... :P Then after that I would be looking at the Relays. I would investigate further before taking to a Fraud Dealer, they will probably say faulty ECU or something similar....it will involve a lot of money anyway and they probably won't fix it.
  21. Best offer I've had all week.... :P I take it you fight dirty then....biting, scratching etc....?
  22. I was thinking of popping round to have a gander.
  23. Adrian, unless the speakers are broken you would be throwing your money away. The difference would be next to nothing....unless you mounted the speakers in a different position. You would be better investing the money in a different system, mp3, dvd or whatever. Just my opinion......
  24. Might be the cause then ?
