Whilst browsing the options for the new galaxy I noticed that the Hazard warning lights automatically come on when you brake hard ! Isn't that illegal ? ( Highway code 116 ). I thought you could only use your Hazard warning lights when stationary, or on an unrestricted Dual Carraigeway/Motorway to warn of an obstruction ?

Its quite easy to take the loom out....the connectors do fit through the holes in the body. I would advise repairing it with some new wire just make sure you keep the connections well away from the hinge, a foot either side or more is sufficient, get the most flexible wire you can find of the correct size. If you get one from a breakers it might be worse than the one you have. It would last up until the moment you put your lights on as the current would burn through it almost instantly. The best type of wire you can get is that designed for test leads ( multimeters etc ) just make sure you have the right diameter ( copper not plastic ).

I am pretty sure that that VagCom does not communicate with MK1 booster heaters ( at least it doesn't on my 1998 model, although it could be knackered ). Don't think that there is an ECU fault log to reset !

I thought the Ref was ok, he kept the game flowing although he did make some bad decisions. I don't blame the ref at all he called it like he saw it. Definitely don't blame the linesman, our goal was clearly offside and Italy had one disallowed for offside that wasn't ( although I think there was a handball). The second Italy goal came from a very dubious free kick, but it didn't really matter as a draw would have been good enough. The substitutions should have been made earlier for Scotland as they were not getting enough chances in front of goal.

Its a matter of reasoning and logic, I make my own decisions based on my own judgement, as I said before most of the belief are just a way of people diverting blame to make themselves feel better.....from this I know I am correct. I would still hold the Baptism in church as I see it as part of the traditional naming ceremony.....the mumbo jumbo that goes with it I see as part of the fee for using the facilities. Ditto for funerals...although personally I would also have a wake. As you can see i have now been removed from the hit list..

I am not sure if you can still get 4wd in the Sharan, it may have only been early MK1 like the Galaxy's. Anyone know when they stopped doing 4wd ?

I am not assuming I am right I know I am. No I did not get married in a church. I don't actually have any kids ( that I know of ) but yes I would have them baptised as I regard this as a formal naming ceremony no other practical option exists. I will have a funeral ( rememberance ) service, i do not see this as being religious. No I do not believe in burial and even if I went insane and beciame religious I would still not be vain enough to do this. I was baptised ( Presbytarian ) which probably moves me even further up the C of E's Hit list.

Probably explains the clothing fetish.... Anyhow...remember the "Singing Nun" that was a sad story....wonder if the youngsters on here know about it.
