  1. I could try that.....you never know . Obviously this is the first time I have bought anything on ebay that may have been dodgy :D I suppose I could play up a bit on the distress that this has caused and the suffering that I have gone through. Am now unable to drive because of the worry that the Police may pursue this and i could end up being arrested and possibly face a fine or imprisonment  Added to this is the distraction caused by these mats being permanantly fixed in my car and causing me to keep glancing down at them, thereby taking my eyes of the road and possibly leading to an accident. :D The sleepless nights I have had since receiving the letter and the thought that the criminal that sold them to me may be seeking me out to extract revenge. :D In the light of some of the compensation claims that have been in the papers recently I think I may be justified in looking for somewhere in the region of around
  2. Yep I got one as well......seen wiltshire police at the top and thought....sh!t....speeding. I got a second letter same day from the victim support unit offering guidance on how to cope with being a victim. Offering guidance and help to deal with the trauma and shock of this offence....I kid ye not. I was still laughing after opening the first one so didn't bother calling victim support...I can just about cope.
  3. You not driving the skip to the nationals then ?
  4. I prefer the Blazer Blue to the Ink Blue. However I think that anyone who orders the "Tango" should seek immediate psychiatric help.
  5. I would also take into account that more wires may be broken although the insulation may still be in one piece and they may look ok.
  6. Looks like "rosso"
  7. Anyhow , I'm back.........after my house move. Just up the road from Maz ( luckily upwind) . So I'll get my burglary tools out ( if I can find which bloody cardboard box i packed them in ). Have a nice little holiday pet !
  8. British gas has just put the price of gas up by 35%.....thirty five %.....in case you thought it was a typo. This is with immediatte effect.......their electric has gone up by 9% as well.
  9. Possibly a faulty temperature sensor......could be a dodgy battery though
  10. The compressor should kick in when the air-con is switched to auto....the drop in the engine revs is quite obvious as is the sound. If not then it is most likely to be a problem with the compressor not the Climate Control unit. You have the correct amount of gas ( assuming they filled it correctly ) the lower value is for front air-con only the higher is if you have front and rear aircon. Not aware of any diagnostics that you can run on the aircon without using an analyser or similar.
  11. You could always read one of the ebay reviews.... review
  12. Hi Lucy, welcome to the forum. I think you'll enjoy the comfort and superior driving position of the Gal.
  13. What's the blue I for ?
  14. Ok I can understand... Silver Red-I Double Red I Triple Red I but the one below ? Nooooooooo! .....is this what I think it is ?
  15. Probably a "hot flush" pet, youre getting near that age. :D
  16. Possibly the additional cranking when the engine wouldn't start when hot ( for whatever reason ) caused the starter motor to burn out ? Just a thought !
  17. This poor hot-starting may just be related to poor fuel, low viscousity, high or low cetane number, additional water etc. Possibly changing to a different brand of diesel may make a difference !
  18. The snake oil merchants seem to be back in town
  19. Just a thought...do you have cruise control in the glof ?
  20. If it has mp3 written on it above the cd slot then it will play mps cd's. Advise to recheck either your mp3 files or your method of burning cd's. If not then it wont play mp3's.
  21. Aye, they're a strange lot down in the fenlands.......it's the inbreeding during the times of flood.
  22. I remember there was a good explanation for this a while ago.....unfortunately i can't remember exactly what it was.. Definitely a fuel problem ( too much IIRC ) I think it had something to do with a temperature sensor overheating and thinking the engine was hotter than it actually was. Mine always starts instantly when cold . If hot however it needs cranked for a while.....drive for a while until engine is at full temp.....stop to fill up with fuel.....bitch won't start without a serious amount of embarrasing cranking. Doesn't always do it.....just when there's lots of people watching.
