Hopefully your galaxy is not near driveshaft failure as I experienced couple of months ago....

Mine is "working" very similar. Also is on for the most of the time and even when CC is set on HI, still only partially hot air comes out. What I don't understand, why is working for some time when engine is switched off and car locked - smokes. And last bit, when I stop at traffic lights, heater often stops and restart when moving again. Regarding consumption I get around 30mpg in the town and 37-40 on motorway in comparison to 43-45mpg in hot weather. Does the computer register heater consumption and engine altogether or just the engine?

I would not help but also interested as I do have the same problem. Even mirror heating doesn't work.... George

When I told my missus I bought another headlight for my galaxy she wasn't too much impressed. I don't know what would she do if I buy second one :ph34r:

I am about to move to Southampton and looking for good garage which wouldn't cost me arm and leg in service. Does anybody could recommend any garage in this area. Thanks George

Hi guys, I have bought galaxy last week and I noticed there is cover under engine missing. I found one on the ebay however I am not sure about it's compatibility with my galaxy. Could anyone confirm whether engine cover from MK1 Sharan/Galaxy/Alhambra would fit MK2 galaxy? If not what part number should I look for? Thanks George

Hi Guys, I have chance to buy Galaxy Ghia 2002 1.9TDI 115psi with xenon headlights, 127K on the clock, full service history, last service 05.09, 4 previous owners (I would be 6th), CC blowing hot air - display doesn't flash, there are some broken parts as rear light clusters cracked at the corners but nothing major. There is also condensed water in all rear clusters. Broken corner of speaker mesh at drivers door, seat adjuster switches doesn't react, passenger wing mirror doesn't tilt to sides, just up and down. Front parking sensors doesn't react, there is long beep after switching them on. That's probably everything what I found and they want for this car
