  1. Yes, I do (some small voltages - can't recall at the moment). Also there is ADP OK despite of these errors. I can guess someone in the past changed whole left headlight and ballast hasn't been configured properly. Is there anything what can I try with VCDS or would I have to go to stealers? Thanks George
  2. Hi Mirez, I have tried to set my levelling right according to your earlier post but nothing happened (basic setting > group one > hit go....) and in the first box in first group there is error displayed. In second group again first box mention error. I still have same errors in "Fault codes" . Obviously I have registered my VCDS-lite through ross tech website. Thank for any help George

To Decode all DTCs 35-00 - Please Register/Activate Could be this done through vag-com (unregistered) or do I have to go to dealers to have it done by them? Thanks for any replay George
  4. Have been in the garage this morning again ans as I remembered I do experience some juddering when in the 1st gear going over speed bumps etc. They lifted gal and we tried to release clutch pedal sharply when in the 1st gear and you can hear some noise in differential like something is loose. Also if you put handbrake on when on the ground and try to move forward in the first gear, there is something moving like engine in the chassis. Checked rear engine mouth which look OK. I have been told, they think transmittion removal and clutch, DMF renewal is necessary to sort it out. Now I am puzzled how much would it cost to have it done  George
  5. Thanks jayton, nice articles but not really helping solve my mystery. Any particular places which should be checked? Thanks again George
  6. Hi guys, I need to advise what shall I do? I do experience steering wheel vibration mostly when accelerating at 5th or 6st gear from 60mph up. I have been told by my garage this is outer drive shaft problem and they want to change both sides to sort this out. Update: I spent whole day waiting in the garage before they got drive shafts from Eurocarparts's main warehouse. After they fitted both outer driveshafts I went for a test drive and vibrations are still present. Again it vibrates just when accelerating from 55mph upwards in 5th or 6th gear. There were also some vibrations when decelerating but not as bad as when accelerating. Vibrations at 3k revs disappeared completely. They are scratching their heads and don't know what else could cause these vibrations. They mentioned it may be caused by differential but not sure. Also denied any problems with clutch, transmition as these vibration would persist all the time. I don't have any idea if all these problems are related. George
  7. Hi, my A/C is not working as well and would like to go the way of condenser replacement if this would be the most reliable fix. I did check price at Ford and got quote for
  8. What about the stuck thermostat open ?
  9. Hi, I have similar problem on Ford Mondeo (petrol) and my Galaxy (diesel). To fill up the tank I can't fully insert fuelling gun in the neck so all vapours can pass easily through the gap between the gun and neck and won't trigger gun safety switch. George
  10. There would be always two groups of people, one would bled and another one just remove brake fluid reservoir cap and press pistons slowly inwards. I know some people working in the garage for 25+ years and they never bled system when changing disks/pads. I have changed front disks/pads today without bleeding and everything is fine. George
  11. I got Quantum Platinum 5L from VW at Hedge End for
  12. Just wondering, would be possible to do these changes through VDS-Pro? I could use vag com cable for this.....
  13. Hi guys, I am also interested at this feature ..... and have one serial vag com lead spare for lending if needed..... Just let me know and I can lend this piece of hardware :D . Anyway if you find way "how to" enable this feature through VDS-Pro I would be over the moon. I already managed to activate some additional CL features through this software. George
  14. George
  15. I personally had problem with USB lead version which didn't want to connect to all modules, especially 18 - Aux Heater. I bought serial version which can't be set wrong and it connects straight away. I may be a problem with the lead rather than with module itself. Try to find someone else with diesel shalaxy where you can test you lead is working fine. George
  16. Hi Munter, it's this seller. George
  17. Just wondering what is this kit for.... I will probably solder all connections if space allows :) I agree I would go for cable from seller with higher seller rating and better instructions.
  18. Hi I received instructions from another seller which are more detailed.... and in better English.....side_1.pdf Side_2.pdf Seite_01.pdf Seite_02.pdf Seite_03.pdf
  19. Hi, I got installation instructions from one seller on ebay (www.der-standheizer.de) in German. I used babel translator for translation however this German-English text is not very clear. Is there anyone with good knowledge of German? George Connection_diagram_for_Standheizung_Sharan_II.pdf Montageanleitung_Sharan_85_kW_66kW__xxxxx_1.pdf
  20. Hi, I am about to fit this "extra feature" in my galaxy but be honest don't know where to start and how difficult it is. I would appreciate any help regarding where to get this kit, some wiring diagrams for fitting etc. Thank you in advance George
  21. I am experiencing similar problems, whenever I turn steering wheel, I can hear that something is not right with steering system - clutch on the alternator is free in one direction and I can't hear this noise if not touching steering wheel. Engine under tray fitted, new drive shaft fitted recently, no leaks around steering system but maybe cam belt is due soon. What is the service interval for cam belt (1.9 TDi, 115ps, 04/2002)? George
