was thinking the same steve can these thing's be used on petrol engines as i would like to get more power & economy

check hoses m8 aclean all hose links then start engine move each hose & the connection to see if it's split the reason for running the engine is that you will see the petrol come out the hose if it's split i had it happen sometime back on an 1996 escort it was bloody small split & it gave the same symptons as you are getting

big daddy is it full synthetic or part ? do you have a ford number plese i got a 2.0 petrol ford engine & i need to change the oil soon on her

i got a petrol & has no problems sometime you need to pull it out the hole to allow the build up of vapours to be released as it will cut off the supply lol no dirty replies please

hi again guy's i got the 2.0l when does the power steering belt need changing ?? shes done 78k but we only had her a yr & covrd 8k not sure when the belt was last done it's quiet so far but who know's ? also if i get it done do i need to have anything else done like tensioners etc ? any ide on price whilst i'm here notice the low caps on this time VR6 LOL

LOOK UNDER THE RH SIDE(PASSENGER) BULK HEAD THE USUAL PROBLEM IS A BLOCKED DRAIN HOLE REMOVE A COUPLE OF SCREWS FROM UNDER THE WHEEL ARCH PULL BACK THE PLASTIC LINER & PUT UR HAND UP NEAR TO THE WING INDICATOR & FEEL ABOUT FOR A RUBBER FLAP PULL IT OFF & WATER WILL FLOOD OUT OF IT CLEAR IT WITH UR FINGERS ALL DONE OR YOU CAN DO THE FOLLOWING REMOVE THE BULK HEAD PLATE THAT RUNS ACROSS THE CAR IT'S UNDER THE WIPER MOTOR YOU WILL SEE 3 SCREWS THAT HOLT IT INPLACE 2 EITHER END & 1 IN THE MIDDLE REMOVE ALL 3 & PULL THE PLAT OFF NOW CLEAR BOTH DRAIN HOLSE EITHER SICE OF THE CAR OH YOU WILL NEED TO PULL OFF THE PLASTIC SHIELD FROM THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT FIRST ONCE YOU HAVE REMOVED THE BULK HEAD PLATE YOU CAN REMOVE THE POLLEN FILTER. can anyone give me the correct info on wiper sizes? i have been told 28" & 26" or both 28" i currently got 2 28" on there i got a 1997 model gal also what is the size for the rear one i want to get this sorted as i'm not sure if the ones on there now are original ford parts as i cannot see any stamps on them any help would be brill to clear this up for all of us also what ones for the 2000-onwards models ? thank's for any help you have

ask a fried that's got a gal to use their ecu unit from under the passengr's seat. if it's no diffrence then you have illiminated one option also put the ecu unit in an airing cupboard for 24 hours to make sure it dries out that sometimes works it maybe damp not wet i hope this is of some sort of help make sure the scuttles are clear unscrew the under wheel cover no need to remove it put ur hand up toward the wing indicator & you should feel a rubber flap pop ur fingers into it & clear it do the same on the drivers side but be careful as there are wires on the drivers side
