Windows Fogging Up
delboyt replied to garrymossley's topic in What thing irritate you about your Galaxy
hi galaxy 123 you can clear the scuttles by removing 3 screws from under the wheel arch force your hand up under the arch liner then pull away the ruber flap pop your fingers in the hole & remove the crap try a watering can in the top(bulk head) if water hits your feet your done refit the screw & that's it you can leave off the rubber flap as i did mine on the wiper blades mine are trico make both are curved 28'' -
DRILL A HOLE IN THE FLOOR TO LET WATER OUT DO A DAMN SEARCH ON THE TOPIC AS IT WAS COVERD ONLY LAST SATURDAY THIS IS PEEING ME OFF ALL THE WATER LOL AHHH!! YES I KNOW I'M SHOUTING

28" long curved blades frauds want -
it does have heated wing mirrors m8 they only work for about 30 secs from when you tunr the engine over so it tells me in one of my manuals. you can check to see if you have them by popping off the mirror glass it's a simple clip fit get your fingers into on side & pull you shold seel a wire or 2 attatched if they are not there then someone may have replace the glass at sometime with non heated ones as they are cheaper i think the glass with the heating element is about

have you had the wheels checked for alignment ?? if the pressures are ok then it must me alignmenat. i hope it's a simple remedy for you m8

Windows Fogging Up

no need to rip the car apart as i said 3 screws under the wing & pop your hand up inside the liner & pull the rubber flap away. it is good to run the air con sometimes but it don't help fuel economy & the gal likes fuel as we all know so the use of the rain x stuff really doe's work. sorry if i got it wrong asto the aircon being cold i only use it in the summer as my heater is fine for winter without aircon running. let's hope this helps out the newbies. oh vr6 i got the gal done at my local garage i supplied the fan/aux belt -

remove 3 screws from the plastic wheelarch liner near to the passengers door pull the liner back & put your hand up toward the bulk head end & feel for a rubber flap putt it away & warte shold flow if water don't flow out then get a coat hanger (old metal type)& prod it about into the hole now get a watering can & pop some water on the bulk head under the bonnett & see it it flow from under the wheel arch you don't neet to put the rubber flap back on if you don't wat to as i left mine off & has never had a problem since onto the fogging up go to halfords or similar & get a bottle of rain x (black bottle) for the inside of the screen & rain x (yellow bottle) for the outside windows use the inside one (black bottle) & you won't have any more fogging up but make sure you do all of the screen you can also use it on the side windows to see if it work do a couple of them & leave others free & you will see the diffrence you can keep using your air con if you don't want to use rain x but aircon is expensive to keep running all the time & cold in the winter lol let me know how you get on happy driving -
if it's been raining & the car has been wet check the passengers side footwell for wet/dampness the bugger tends to leak from the bulk head filter water build up there look under the bonnet passengers side to see if you can see if water has built up there look for a line like you may see in a bath after the kiddies been in there well mine a dirty buggers lol i hope you enjoy the flooding it not a prob as it's blocked drain holes that causes it
