easiest way to repair any hole is as follows use a piece of thin wood or similar cut it so it's ablut 1 ins bigger than hole make hole in the middle of the thin wood get piece of string or similar & tie knot in 1 end & thread through hole in the middle get some glue to apply to thin wood fiddle thin wood into door hole and pull with string to get to stick the glue use filler to smotth off & allow to dry once dry cut off string & make good the repair or as said buy a new door but you can do this to any hole in plasterboard or cavity walls

DON'T PUT THE HANDLES IN THE DOWN POSITION AS THEY GET IN THE WAY FOR PASSENGERS LEGS. PUT THEM UN THE 10 PAST 12 POSITION THAT WAY THEY CAN WIND THEMSELVES UP & NOT GET IN THE WAY OF PASSENGERS KNEES. my window winds down a little but only the off side rear as it's most prob the position of the winder handle? sorry for the caps being on lol

forgt all the patches & stuff if you want to give up smoking ony you can i done it for 4 yrs then starting going to rugger with my boys & some onf the other fathers there smoked & offerd me ciggys but i kept saying no for about 5 month then gave in i only smoke about 10 (or a cigar instead of a ciggy) a week & that's when i'm having a pint . if feel that if i want 1 i'll have 1 & if not then i won't it's all down to will power to be honest & for you the person to want to give up & not give it up for someone else as that way you got someone to blame when you fail but to decide yourself is the way to go that's my opinion all the best to all you guys & gals trying to give it up & to you who have given it up

i agree with mum the mk 1 & 2 are better shapes atleast you know what you see when you see one as we older gal,alamb & sharan owners are individual as you know what it is when you see it the new one looks like most other cars on the road & lost it individuallity. on the case of now shap or old shap my local taxi firm got to change all their fleets of gals & have told my local for dealership they only want the older mk2 shapes not the new shapes or they will not have any of them this taxi firm is part of bristol airport (airportcars). you looking at a fleet of 40 taxis all galaxys. they must know something if they don't want them me thinks ?

i got a mk1 galaxy anyone got a piccy as to where i top up the air con plzz. it's working at the moment but i will need to top it up sometime in the future. when do i know it's toped up using the halfords can ? do i need to buy the guage aswell ?

if you actually look at the guys feedback it's nothing to do with the fuel saver it's for the prompt posting as his pot say's it takes a couple of months for you to see the change in the amount of fuel you will be using i don't believe it myself but i do with i have the idea first lol as said on this thread don't put your foot down so hard & you will save money

mum i got the bt package it's brilliant & if you have a problem with them you actually get to talk to a human & not ispend ages in a que. i got the max package don't bother buying the extra wireless receivers from them as you can get cheap one's that works with their router. the phone is brill to as i got my own line so now the missus can chat to her mum all night without moaning at me for being on the phone or one of the kids wanting to use the phone. they use my bt internet one as it cost's nothing. i hope you get up and running sooner rather than later.

mumof4 try asking at your local dry cleaners for stain remover as the stuff they use will remove most marks for upholstery. i use a cleaner called zerotri. it's an industrial degreaser & they use it in drycleaners & it removes all the oil grase & dirt from my upholstery & i got light grey interior & 3 kids & a dog to contend with oh and the missus with her chocky wrappers all over the car lol. the zerotri cost's about

what engine's do they use for the ford galaxy's ? the 2000-2006 models ? i friend has just got an 06 plate (the older shape) & recon's it's a peugeot diesel engine fitted. it's a 1.9 ford galaxy diesel . is this correct as i thaught they only used vw diesel or ford petrol engine's ?

try halford as they are now stocking them you can use the std flat bladed ones on the mk 1 or curved ones i have found. i goto a trade center called maccess. ask your boss to join & you can get the proper ones for

i only use meguires on my gal scratch -x as mum says is amazing the polish/wax i use is gold class remember this guys polish is not the same as wax polish shines the car wax protects the polish gold class does the 2 jobs in 1 i found you can use on the hot sunny day's aswell as the cooler day 7 it's don't bake onto the paintwork to polis/wax with goldclass it takes me about 50 mins to do the whole cars outside. the other stuff they sell is a carpet/upholsery cleaner & that's fantastic stuff aswell i got most of their product's now & will never use any other makes in the future for the best finish get a wax/polish that's got a lot of canuba wax content. i am a spray painter on bikes etc & has been doing it for 28 yrs so i do have some sort of expertise on paint finishing crap at spelling lol www.meguiars.co.uk/ click on the advice box then the car clinic fill it in & it will tell you what you need be honest when filling it in not the addy part but the rest you will see why

hi guys a friend is picking up a new shape gal 4 k on the clock for 17k it's a ghia ex show model with all the gizmoz added he told me he also said it's got a chain now not a belt. it's the 115 1.9 diesel he said but i thaught the new one's where higher on engine size now ? any one help us on this as he's collecting it thurs & would like to be able to question this with frauds. one he get's it i told him to sign up here as he will need help for all you guys sometime soon as he's using it as a taxi. sorry for any or all spelling mistakes !!

i had similar ones foud it to be the cover plate for the jack try the cover on the nr side as it tends to move sometimes remove it / drive & if it's stopped hey presto also check the jack is tight & any cables in the arches are clipped properly forgot to say check the seats are all tight as sometimes the bolts under the plastic sides work loose as i had it happen on my seat & it took ages to find the annoying rattle
