but VW never slung the 2.3 into a Sharan so the shocks wont be to required spec for the vehicle!
-
euro car parts or GS&F, it's a fairly easy job! I'm sure someone else will be along later and post up the relevent section of the the TIS to show you how it's done
-
yes! check you have the radio code? then disconnect the battery and leave it for 10/15 mins before you start playing around! and tread on the break pedal to discharge any capacitance possibly held in the system as well to be sure!
-
not sure although I have read that it's meant to work with classic fm? but in true tomtom style the R&D was done by the customer! there are loads of complaints abut this unit! and tomtoms customer service in general in reguards to this unit
-
the tomtom tcm unit has nothing to with their servers, it's suppose to pick up the traffic reports from radio stations, it's a one off payment device unlike the units traffic system that does rely on their servers and your phones gprs signal
-
wow! someone actually got the tmc unit to work! although you probably buggered your chances of getting a refund or replacement unit when it finally fails! dont hold back on the how to? you could make a fortune on ebay flogging the info

Brighter Headlight Bulbs
mk2vr6 replied to davewill's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
what are you on about? that site is based on info in the USA not the UK where the laws are totally different! -
the Queen or a Queen? he's well aquainted with the latter! so either will do

OH dear! keep the reciept, it will probably last longer than the tyres! hit google and look for a couple of reviews from past and present users... side walls splitting I BROUGHT A PAIR OF WANLI TIRES AND IN TWO MONTHS THEY SHREADED THEY ARE NO GOOD! did track down that they are made in Lebannon! sued for copyright issues! by yokohama Well let me tell you from my experiance... DONT GET THEM!!!! Those tired f'in almost killed me... No joke. I bought some used rims and they came with the rims... Let me tell you those are the worst tires I have ever used. They suck in dry weather, meaning they break lose when I pull away from a stop with a little gas. And in the rain... well lets just say you would be safer driving with bald tires. Drawbacks are: they are heavy tires and they weigh more than the stock and road noise (loud humm) is really bad specially when the road is wet.

Car Sometimes Refuses To Start Can Any Boy Help Please?
mk2vr6 replied to danant81's topic in Trainee member help
I think you mean possibly a dodgy abs sensor, normally located in the wheel hubs not the steering wheel! -
you dont have a choke, the tick over is controlled by the stepper motor on the throttle body, try cleaning the throttle body, resetting the throttle body control and checking for intake air leaks and bad connections to the throttle body electrical connections

the fuel is cooled before it returns to the tank, the fuel is in a constant cycle of being pumped round the system, it sits in the fuel lines, filter, fuel rail and injectors in the head and is in close proximity to the bit where it goes bang and gets warm in the process! the fuel that isnt burnt is returned to the fuel tank, if warm fuel is allowed to keep circulating eventually you will have a hot fuel load sitting in the tank! then next when its put under pressure in the injection system the injectors will deliver a reduced fuel amount due the now reduced viscosity of the hot fuel! and result in an inefficent burn, reduced power and reduced mpg!
-
funnily enough its name describes what it does
-
if its the fuel cooler it will look like this.number 11 on the drawing
-
a fuel cooler linked into the ac? how does that work then? what happens if you dont run the ac?

taken from another site I belong to. The world-famous Red Arrows have been banned from appearing at the 2012 London Olympics because they are deemed "too British". Organisers of the event say that the Arrows military background might be "offensive" to other countries taking part in the Games. The display team have performed at more than 4000 events worldwide, but the Department of Culture, Media and Sport have deemed the display team "too militaristically British". Red Arrows pilots were said to be "outraged", as they had hoped to put on a truly world class display for the Games, something which had never been seen before. Being axed from a British-based event for being "too British" is an insult - the Arrows are a symbol of Britain . The Red Arrows have been excellent ambassadors for British overseas trade, as they display their British-built Hawk aircraft all over the world. The Arrows performed a short flypast in 2005 when the winning bid was announced, but their flypast at the Games was to have been truly spectacular. It is to be hoped that common sense prevails If you disagree with this decision, sign the petition on the link http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/RedArrows2012/?ref=redArrows2012

Reversing Light Switch Replacing
mk2vr6 replied to Chard1966's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
its the switch, the pin on the selector shaft wears a groove in the switch and makes the gap to big for the pin to fully push home the switch -
it may have more space? but its load carrying limit is lower than the mk1/2 as is its towing limit! so be carefull what you stick in the boot or hook up to to tow bar!
-
just had a similer problem with my new toy, (scooby na sports hatch) the cables to the rear hatch had broke! not in the rubber boot where they flex but further down into the car body
