Smilge Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 Looks good! ...... just out of interest did you use the detailing clay because apparently that's the business? Still ..... doesn't look as stunning as mine after I've polished it. Quote
TimsBamma Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 Yep I'm TimsBamma on Detailing World as well. Car was last clayed, SRP'd, CG Blitz'd & Collinite 476'd last September, I just wish I had time to do it all again. MPV's are to big...:-) and anyway I have the wife's Astra Coupe SE2 to do as well. Foam guns are fun Here's hoping I can on Saturday AM. well at least wash and stick some Collinite on it, desperately needs re claying et al tho. Add to the list installing the new speakers and Amp to go in and the wet sanding needed on two doors and the inevitable stonechips (hmm perhaps a few days off are needed) Quote

Its not on your voting list so voted OTHER. Paint shops hate Autoglym I'm told because it reacts with new paint?? H Quote
bangbus Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 This sort of thing makes me chuckle. next summer it will be three whole years since I washed my Galaxy. Admittedly I did do the whole hog and turtlewaxed it but apart from warm water to de-ice the windows that has been it for cleaning. Two of my children have never seen "Daddies car" in its natural colour as they are under three. The question is, should I wash it before the next arrival in June/July ? Quote

STYLIN Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) i like to try and keep my cars presentable....but £200 on cleaning gear?? that seems like ocd..obsessive cleaning disorder to me. a decent polish and wax bought once a year seems to keep my cars in check(and i have 3 children) my old passat looked like this...(after a quick wash and polish) Edited October 17, 2011 by STYLIN Quote
