i'll be honnest if plugs solve an emmisions problem that bad i'll eat my hat i think you have other e.c.u/sensor related problems i'd try the temprature sender for the ecu as well

same problem here and yes it was the door looms easy enough to fix not that expensive from fraud

mum of4i think your missing the point his is petrol not derv! deisel and petrol tested in totally different ways and that kind of co levels is worringly high i'd be looking at the lambda sensor first (cos its a cheap and easy place to start! and cos it controls the fueling ) you didn't get a dose of that poo petrol when supermarkets had all those problems, did you??

that makes me think i dont know if the gal has locking nut's and i know i have not seen a key uh oh i'm gonna look when i get home !

i think vag com will give a better definition af the fault when the wife comes home i'll plug my galaxy in and see what ican read with vag com on the alarm side of things

well the galaxy's air con was tested and charged on tuesday and too my shock held a vacume took the gas and now seems ok !!!!!!! works well gets damn cold aux heater has flame out fault but thats another problem time for a new plug me thinks ! does anyone know if the pressure swith in the system can be monitored ? ie can i check the pressure via ecu/vagcom so i can watch for very slow leak?

my father in laws golf does exactly the same plugged vag com in to it today and it returned with 0 fault codes we were both surprised! so im gonna take the car out and get it to do it while vag com is running see if a fault code shows then ie before ignition is switched off and it resets itself but if you have any luck on this please do post and i will do likewise if we have any luck but i very very much doubt its the turbo i wouldnt let them replace that unless they can guarantee it cures the fault they too expensive to be replacing on a whim !

personally id park the galaxy accross the dealers front door blocking the entrance lock it up and leave it there ! they will call you soon enough when their new customers cant get in the building

I hate VW and especially there 2 bit cheap ass door wiring !!!!!!! i knew it would happen haven't had galaxy 10 mins when the vw parts start playing up ! no electric windows working intermitant flashing of indicators general weirdness with the locking !! Guess what 5 broken/bare wires in the drivers door boot german engerneering at its best! cheap ass cable in a highly moved point grrrr right that's my rant over !

that and anyone recomend or supply a copy of tis that will cover my galaxy it's quite funny really nothing is broken yet because i basically own a vw i'm getting it prepared for it to break down or just be a general pain in the a**

is there a definitive guide for modules and settings ect on here anywhere? did do a vag coom search but i couldnt find anything thought one of you more expeirienced vag com users may have a good list

flashing climate control means there is a fualt in the system might be gassing might be somthing else usually its gassing though best to get it tested to be sure

could be the dreaded fuel / lambda problems but i very much doubt spark plug would solve a lack of power do you know anyone with vag-com if the light is or has been on the fault code will be stored should give you a deffinate answer on your problem rather than replacing all sorts and not solving problem
