umm looking at tiscali 20 days may be optomistic somes experience here
-
ok if you have the phone number get hubby to order from tiscali with a five working day lead time - when its in and working cancel the other one, this assumes that you dont have any 'contract' time to run on the original (usually 12 months for free modem and connection. You will have to pay for one month twice but may be cheaper than dialup, in practice I would reckon a cease & reprovide will take 5-10 days unless tiscali/bt are being particularly incompetent (sorry Bj)
-
i think that unless tiscali can do the house moving package (possible for an isp to do in a couple of days) you are going to have no choice - either go with another provider (at least youll have another ip to be banned lol) or put up with the delay (use dial up in the meantime !)

Replacing Rubber Insulator On Top Of Macpherson Strut
NikpV replied to Galaxy_Quest's topic in Trainee member help
Think Neil was implying that the garage may not have tested the car correctly and gave detail of how the testting should be done according to Vosa. May be worth you asking the garage how the testing was done - of cousre they may have done it correctly and still found excessive play !! -

I think you were lucky then Nik ...... according to the Bosch Electronic Systems book you should always connect the positive lead to the positive terminal first and then the negative lead to a metal part of the vehicle at least 0.5 meters from the battery. will be doing this in future I assume this is now needed because of the ecu/computer based control systems - over the years on older type cars many jump starts have appeared to cause little problem.
