- Hi What do you mean "appears repaired" d the car used the wrong jack point I think. when ours was bent the seam was crushed flat - folded over so there was a kink in the line of the seam - to me it looks like someone has unfolded the seam here as if go conceal the problem - which is why I used quotes - it is obviously damaged but looks like someone has had a go at bending it back :)

as if there could be a fault :)

there is no haynes manual for the mk2 (:lol:) have a look round at some well know aution sites for Fords alternative - 'Tis a work of art

this appears "repaired" :lol:

it has sensors (provided they have been connected properly - no reason to think not) it will say "check brake pads" on the display

sorry - A/C - air conditioning - Climate control (which you do have) means you set the temp and the air con runs to keep the temperature at that (either heating or cooling) its a glorified heater/cooler with humidity control

have you held the trip switch ong enough - with the ignition on and off - given the way you caused the problem
