There is an issue with the actuating cables becoming loose and falling off - maybe that your problem

You need two brackets which fit on the trim on either side just behind middle row of seats (and brackets underneath which bolt to the chassis) and two brackets on the tailgate pillars. Could probably get a photo later if you need one

Parking Sensors - Intermittent Problem
NikpV replied to NikpV's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
Just had a go with 'feeling' the sensors but I can't detect a thing - got the error bleep first go - after that turning on/off they seemed to work ok :( - I hate intermittent problems. Is there more than one type of sensor ? -
also - if the window is tight in its runners it appears that closing for the third time forces the window to close to the 'Obstruction'
-
do you have global locking - apparently the 'excessive force limiter' does not kick in unless windows are closed from inside this may isolate the problem if it is the excessive force limiter

Changing The Rear Driver-side Brake Bulb

But it helps if you have a tiny hand which has been stretched on a rack  the access is quite small, even if you can get it open to start with :P -
Ummm - must be the Stella - must stop getting the boxes of 20  :P What I meant is that in you post of Apr 22 2006, 22:24:50 look above, you have quoted me twice from different posts QUOTE (NikpV @ Apr 22 2006, 19:18:19) and QUOTE (NikpV @ Apr 22 2006, 22:16:06) If I use the quote and unquote button it does not put the details it just says 'Quote', if you press the quote button on the post you are replying to it gives you the whole post which you can edit but what about the second post ?? :D

Touche MM, arbitrarily done, :D Nik, fellow mere mortal :D , Yes, I've just noticed your ex-post post now i.e. you added I thought that I posted it to the 'Irritating things about your galaxy forum' forum  You're correct I did add that after. How do you get two or more quotes from different posts with the details of poster date time etc in the same post, I know how to just quote multiple times or do one quote with details but not two ?? :P

Another Year Another A/c Problem
NikpV replied to jkspoff's topic in General Discussion and Nonsense
Fuse F2 and/or Fuse F16 blown ?? I have to say that we never turn ours off and (touching huge baulk of timber) its one thing that has never had a problem  -
Started car this morning and put into reverse - long high pitched beep from rear and flashing parking sensor switch, tried switching engine off and on, cleaned sensors - still didn't work. Parked up later and while missus and the kids were shopping I had a fiddle (with the parking sensors) sometimes got the high pictched beep other times - nothing but they didn't work. Pressing on one sensor always brought up the beep so I assumed that this one was borked - (ah ha I hope MO4 has found where hubby has hid her spare sensors) Later on, putting the car into reverse and lo and behold they worked fine - and did so for the rest of the day except on one occasion what gives here??? Only pattern here was that the particular sensor was in full sun when it didn.t work!!! Are these ultrasonic of infra red based, can the sensor fail in that way and its on the way out? Ive checked passenger underseat compartment - dry, wiring this morning was dry, i've also lloked at Frauds diagnostic procedures 1) clean sensors 2) Check foglamp operation  :P :D :D can't check for DTc - No Vag-com Any ideas or info here (can't detect ticking in any - but at 47 (and married) my hearing is a tad less acute than it used to be.. :D :D
