  2. I always find the locking nut scoket comes off usually with extreme prejudice :ph34r: leaving the locking socket unusable :( :D

Aha - I think on the MkI models the atc unit fascia has a tiny hole, just wide enough to gently insert a pin or toothpick etc. Behind this hole is a little button which toggles the outside temp display between Centigrade and Fahrenheit. - think this was on a 2000 pre-facelift model :angry: :angry: so USE THE LITTLE RESET SWITCH in the hole

  12. Sorry MKII here but how about holding econ, auto buttons in whilst turning on ignition - or some other combination of buttons on the ATC - bit hit or miss but ..... let us know if you try :angry: :angry:

  17. Cant find a relay for the rear wiper - K11 is for the front intermittant, the circuit depends on the year - three variants I think. There appears to be a double pole switch which disables the rear wiper when the tailgate is open (some dates only) N148 contact plate

  20. Disconnect the battery negative lead. Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds (five screws). Remove the multifunction switch retaining screw. (When disconnecting multiplugs do not pull on the wiring). Disconnect the multiplugs. Remove the multifunction switch. Remove Relay - Indicator Flasher - Remove (33 722 0) if you want some diagrams - post request I will try and oblige
