  1. I would hope that their is a way but I don't know if it is possible. I know you can manually close an electric sunroof.
  2. My rear passenger electric window is stuck in the down position. I have tried the usual methods global closing ect. the motor clicks when trying to open the window, but nothing happens when trying to close the window. The wiring looks ok but i have to remove the winder to check it further. Havis checked my tis manual I know I have to remove the winder mechanism. But herein lies my problem, the window won't go up or down. I can't access the two clamps to remove the glass to take out the winder.(the window is to far down i can get the hinge side one undone, but not the lock side one) short of breaking the window I am flumoxed any ideas lads and lasses. or is it a trip to frauds to fix the problem with my cheque book. Andy B why does it always happen on a bank holiday

  4. The problem is the decal below the front windscreen (covers the drain scuttle and wiper linkage) its problay some of the drain vents causing the noise when air passes over it at speed. mine does at 50-60 mph. I have learn to live with it hope this helps
  5. I am about to bite the bullet and change my glow plug as well. can you do it without draining the coolant as stated in the tis manual.
  6. just picked up gal chemical test and compression test ok. must be aux heater glo plug which looks a right pig to do

  9. depends what you mean by the right checks
  10. I noticed mayonaise forming on my oil filler cap. I am not losing water and the oil looks clean, power from the engine is fine. I have took the gal in for a service today and asked them to do a compression test and a chemical test for coolant in the oil. The only thing I have thought of so far is, I mostly do short journeys of 5 miles to work and the engine probably isn't up to operating temperature, I have recently done a 400 mile round trip without any problems the gal ran fine. I also I need to replace the glow plug on the smoke making machine at the back. I think that the aux heater also heats the water coolant for the air con? could this be the cause of my problems. any suggestions welcome. Hopefully it won't be expensive as my last Gal 2.8, timing chain tensioner went on that one very expensive. Andy B
