Fault codes from the reader says its the MAF and EGR, well Diff pres feedback sens upstream hose off/plugged. Can I get cleaner for this?

Found out its to do with the EGR valve. But where is it on the mk1

Got the obd2 reader, looks cheap! But works a treat, founds 2 faults, looking them up now:)

I have the same issue, a garage told me it COULD be an air leak from a pipe. Now I'm only going by what they said, which was, check all the pipes :/ Hmmm ok there's loads. I've ordered a MAF sensor and hoping it works

The stratch isn't deep, think it has had the filler, unfortunately a touch up pen just won't cut it, the stratch is too big and long.

Someone has taken it apart and put it back together, keeps going in limp mode.

A previous owner of my car has prepared a nice long stratch along the side of the car is it easy enough to just t cut it or shall I spray can it? Any advice is most welcome.

Mine doesn't work on any part of the car, I know this because I have the air bag light on and vag com doesn't pick it up.

Think if it's been cleaned before its had an issue so I think I will just change it. If its not the MAF then what else can it be? My galaxy is not a turbo

Disconnected the MAF after reading on here. Limp mode appeared. Went to a garage and they said it could still be the MAF. After looking at it properly I noticed that a previous owner has taken it apart and put it back together. Seems like it could be that.

So will the ELM327 cable read if the MAF sensor is faulty?

Will the 1st one work on my galaxy 2.0l p reg mk1 I don't mind looking up the codes

I got a cable of eBay but I have lost the cd that came with it. I think I have a faulty MAF but would like vag com to confirm this. What is the correct version that will work. Vdcs lite doesn't work. Please help

I know tho has been covered....but Every so often, not all the time when accelerating away the car seems to have no power, usually happens when either just setting off or at around 50-70mph. Everything I have found seems to suggest a turbo issue but my car isn't a turbo. So I'm thinking fuel filter or MAF sensor. Can anyone advise pleeeeease

After looking on here, the brown cable seems to be the ground connection, wonder why it has been cut?

Every time I set a radio station and turn the radio off and on again it doesn't keep it in the preset. The brown cable up see in the pic is broke. (Duh) is it this that is stopping the presets? It's a new stereo and was also doing it on the old one as well Any help is v helpful.
