Going to buy some clamps to reattach the wires or a bit more wiring so I have slack to play with. With 5 kids and a passenger door not working is not an easy task, seeing as one of the kids is only 5 months old :/

Found this in the rubber gator but door still tries to lock and unlock, is this the deadlock or something?

Any more advice pls?

There isn't anything jammed in the door, seatbelt is free. I have tried searching for the deadlock, found one about unlocking the car and then unlocking it again so the side repeaters flash but I didn't work. Any other ways? How would I apply power directly to the motor?

If I remove the - battery terminal and refit it, will that help at all?

Got the door panel off but seem to get any further, the door is stuck shut.

My rear passenger door will not open, seems as if the locking mech is stuck, won't lock or unlock with the central locking. Please help me get this door open with your advice Thaaaankyou

My mk1 has an audible warning. An annoying noise but it does have one.

The bolt to undo the housing seems to be seized and the hoses coming from the filter seem larger than the actual filter nozzle. Any ideas people?

At a standstill earlier and the car dipped to about 200 rpm then came back up to normal, happened a couple times now. Egr or idle control valve I think Can anyone confirm that?

Next question, where exactly is the filter? I thought it was near the near of the mk1. But guessing its at the front, wouldn't it be easier to remove the undertray?

How do you exactly do you set the gap? As mine is doing the same thing

When putting the car in reverse, the liights do not come on, I have to hold down the gear stick for them to be lit up, any ideas?
