  1. Took me 4 hours, took off the ICV as well, cleaned that, had to take off the black plate that holds the ht leads on, all the air filter piping. Was a nightmare. Thankyou Brian
  2. Update: spark plugs replaced! Took forever! Exhaust not popping as much but still doing it, HT lead replacement next?
  3. Needs replacing for sure
  4. Update, taken 1 plug out and the spark bit is all white, not a good sign?

  6. Would that cause the engine to vibrate and exhaust to pop, I'm confused, could also smell a bit of petrol as well. Just need it explaining to me, I'm always eager to learn new things
  7. Earlier today after a small 30 mile round trip, I got back home, went back out about 5 min later and in start up I notice the exhaust is popping and upon acceleration the whole car vibrates and on rev up. Any thoughts PLEEEEEEASE

  11. I have looked on good ole flea bay, nothing there. If I used heat, what's the best thing to use blowtorch wise, I've looked but there's different choices.

  14. Hot the edge of the actual bolt itself? The bolt is not budging at all, even broke my socket wrench Trying to remove it :((((
  15. For the life of me I can not undo the oil drain plug, now I fear I've ruined it, can't get a socket or spanner to grip it HEEEELLLLPPPP ME How can I get it undone
  16. Took out seats, removed door panel, unscrewed the door lever from inside and just pulled at it with force and heard a noise so pushed the door open. Voila
  17. All sorted, removed undertray and fitted new belt, omg the tensioner is not easy to move, takes a lot of strength
  18. Ah so fairly easy. Phew Thought I'd do it myself as learning experience and to save on garage fees.
  19. I have to add as I'm typing this I'm currently sitting in the car while its being towed as I have 5 kids and the gf in the recovery truck IT'S VERY BOUNCY
  20. Alternator drive belt has sort of snapped, luckily I was only doing about 5-10mph coming out of a junction. Ordered a new one and replacing tomorrow. How easy a job is it? What needs to be removed? Thanks
  21. Check the idle control valve, I had that issue on an old car
