I got them on my mk1 and they r a God send in the rain and for if u smoke.

Wires in the rubber boot could be snapped I had same problem, I patched in a bit of wire did the trick.

Airbag module?

Yeah air con pipes of it got aircon please

No nor me. I think it could be the module controller in the centre collum so I have read. In the manual it says that the fuse for the airbag also does other things.

Just done a continuity test on old clock spring and all works. So cud be some thing else on Mine.

Disconnect the battery. It's easy I did it on 20 mins that's putting new one on as well.

I have changed the clock spring next try is the module it's self. so it's not just me that has this problem then.

One pipe has been cut and crimped buy the last owner and where they have cut it one part is missing.

Where can I get mk1 galaxy air con pipes from. I need the ones from the back of the compressor to where ever they join. Tried scrap yards and even eBay and none. Dealer prices are going to be silly so won't bother going there. Any ideas?

Yes tried all ports. It does not connect to the airbag controller on the car while running diagnostics.
