    Hi Dave what year is it? As I have just had the idler pulley go on Mine. For a new one expect about £40 and 20 mins to replace.

    Yes the teeth do strip on the shaft I had the problem and lost drive.

    It should take no longer than 10 mins to do

    Nothing needs to be removed just slacken off the alternator and fit New belt. Once fitted make sure u tighten all bolts up.
