Look at the wiringconnector on no3injector mine had a dodgy connector(pin was being pushed back out of housing when the two halves of the plug were closed,and not always making contact) took me ages to find but once pushed in fron back of the plug no more juddering! Was on a p reg 90 hp tdi

I see on top off the caliper2 slotsgrooves that it would fit in luvverly,but it would do nothing there!is there anywhere i can get a piccy of how it should look?

Hi all took a rear caliper off today to cleam it up and hopefully stop brakes dragging, got this bit left over!!!where does it go?

Can anyone suggest a software programme that will let me track running costs and servicing/repair history. Or maybe an excel spreadsheet cheers

Hi all after killing my mk1in the snow I have got muself a tidy 2001 115 bhp ghia which i am very pleased with. Perusing this forum I read about the after run pump,lots of info which has helped me determine that mine is probaly going home!it sometimes needs a poke to get it going I read that the brushes can be replaced but id mess that up! Has anyone sourced these pumps anywhere else than fords??

hi guys got a similair problem on my p reg 90hp galaxy,seems to be the same symptoms except that i can also have a very lumpy tickover as well after mesing around changing pipes on both sides iof the turbo and not improving much ,it was recommended that i bypass the valve altogether. this has now been done so the small pipe on the pressure side of the turbo goes stariaght to the wastegate,( via the valve,by connecting the 2 pipes with the valve permananlty open)seems to have fixed it temporarily Did you have the lumpy tickovver,?? still

Got a luggage blind and all the plastic brackets ,and the metal jobs that go go behind the trim Do you have to cut a section out of the rear trim panels (next to the seat belt) to mount plastic brackets(that the roller end of the blind sits in,before screwing them to the metal brackets? thought id ask before atacking it Dave Whoops ! should have searched first ,many articles on it !!!!! Hi all Just found a new problem this morning,the motor dosent like going into third ,crashes the gears It wont even always go in when stationary ,with the engine running Done a search on here and found the references to the cable s,had a look at mine and the ball joints aint come off ,but the bit on top of the gearbox that they atach to seeems very loose ,you can pull it backwards and frowards ,and up and down !!is this right or is there a retaining bolt or something mising Hope you can help as i dont tihnk i can take anymore grief with this one!!!

hi all recently foound that my rear brakes seem to be dragging ,the wheels are warm/hot to the touch after a run with no heavy braking have not had the wheeks off yet to see how much meat there is left on the pads iss this a common problem with the galaxy ,is there a usual quick fix ,besides replacing the calipers regards dave

hi all todays starter for 10# 97 90hp tdi on the egr control valve and the turbo boost control valve there are two elec connections ,one brown and one black , these both look interchangable so which one goes to which valve at present i have the brown plug on the turbo valve is this right cheers
