I'm going to get a crow bar tomorrow (yes I'm the only scouser that doesn't own one lol) and open the grid up but looks like the has sank deep but ill try. Will it still work with it being emurged in water?

Managed to drop my master key down the grid and can't retrieve it I've still got spare though. Where best to get another key done? And estimated cost? Thanks

Does anyone have a pic that can show exactly where to find the speed sensor on a mark 2? I've been told its located on the top of the gear box by the selector but cannot locate it

Similar fault myself now lost speedo and fuel gauge up and down bleeping away if less than half a tank in. Literally just happened now. It did happen few months back and mechanic sorted by cleaning the sensors and up until now not been an issue. Is it the abs sensor??

What's the best "cheapest" scanner to buy off eBay which gives the most details on faults? I've got a cheapo red maxiscan but it doesn't pick up any faults and I know there are some on my car. A friend had a great one I used to use which he said was about

If I wanted to get the cam and followers done roughly how much would I be looking at for parts and labour? Just a ball park figure???

Starter connection had come loose all sorted now

My fault was sorted this morning and for once it was a fault that didn't me any money :-) It was the connection to the starter that had come off phewwwwwwe!!!

If it's a relay fault would I be able to bump start it? I can do this hence why I believe it's a hard starter motor fault but I'm not a mechanic

Can anyone help? My 1.9 tdi has been sat on the drive for a few months but back on the road today have started it at least 10 times no issue but now turn ignition and nothing. All usual lights on no warning lights etc. will start with a bump on a slope so is it likely the starter is knackered or this relay 30 I've read up on?

I have a similar problem on my 1.9tdi does this relay 30 apply to diesels or is my problem a faulty start motor? I can start it with a bump

For those experienced with this problem of limp mode in what order would you look at replacing things before it got to the point of getting a new turbo?

Well.....finally I think I've got my galaxy sorted the brake calliper issue is now sorted its a mark 1 unit on a mark 2 and the speedo sensors just needed cleaning. It's booked in for its taxi test in the morning so fingers crossed. Only issue it's got now is it still goes into limp mode so gonna give a maf sensor a try see how it goes

The eBay item, does that cover ford galaxy? As in its description it doesn't mention it

Sort of makes sense So u think the complete hub on the "good" side is mark 1 ? So if I bought a complete hub that should sort it?
