Banjoed????but it ran ok this morn wen i had to take youngest to the docs

it hasnt gone off. we were an hour from home,,,,,,,its stll on could it be then that ive put too much in?

No jb..ive had the oil pressure light on before..this def says level...ive had the oil press warning before,,this is different. just says to check the level in the manual it says depending on equipment fitted as to what warning you get i have also had before the oil press stop motor warn b4..that was wen it was empty.

no i didnt let it stand a few mins..well it was stood a few mins wen i went into the shop..but hubby checked it b4 we went away and it was on min but no light

but i only put 1 litre in when it was showing min!..how could it show min then over max with 1l!!..it takes about 5litres dont it?

Ok..i know this has been covered so many times but i can t find the answer to my little problem. An hour from home yesterday the oil level warning came on with the pic of the oil can...check oil level. So pulled over at the next service station and checked it..it was at the minimum..all the garage had was 1l of oil for the turbo diesel engine...10w-40, so i shoved that in. The light stayed on all the way home. when got home, i checked the oil and it was showing way above max..hubby said it was a false reading as the engine was still hot.so decided to wait till this morn. This morn it is still way over the max mark..that is after being stood all night on a level surface and the oilcan is still showing and so is the check oil level warning. So...why did it show minimum when i checked the very first time..then after only putting in 1l it shows 1 cm above the max mark on the dipstick when engine stone cold? I dont want to put any more oil in in case it goes boom and knackers the head gasket. Could it be a sensor stuck???oil filter naffed???or just a light lit when it shouldnt be???or summit a whole lot more serious???last thing i need is a knackered engine!!

the seats can sell for up to 250 on their own..so for a full set of 7..which includes child seats..id say up to 1400 tops...but thats what i think anyway. :lol:

Not read the thread from when i went away but i just had to share with you what mpg i got travelling home from merseyside. 500 miles exactly..averaging 80/95 mph..(hubby was driving not me) the average mpg was 106!!!!! :o :o :o :o ...thats what my reading was!!! :lol: ;) yes i know its wrong...every time i looked it was about 35/43 mpg. :D

I was in Eastham..just got home..well...bout an hour or so ago...pc sorted!!(i think)

very true...on a family members pc from afar today..from the bowls of merseyside!! :) pc is not fixed..boot secter and partition table reading error....will fix it properly when i get home as i didnt have the time thursday morn. my AVG picked up nothing..nor did my adaware..it was a new programme i bought wed night that picked it up....so..why didnt my avg pick it up???thats what i want to know.time to change antivirus i think as its not doing its job
