Must admit..ive got a nice bottle open at the mo to numb the pain of my head unit not working properly and more importantly..me not being able to take it apart.....oh the sorrow!! :D :D
right i cant take the top off as i havent got a small enough hexagonal thingy...but..i did hear a rattling noise like summit is loose in it when i turned it over! Ill keep looking for summit to use.

Well, i used two thin screw drivers and managed to lever the head unit out, Now just got to get the new one playing cds!!.I bought a 6006e head unit.(cd player integrated on it!)I get an error code 3 on it.and can i find my audio guide???no! :huh:
Ok...how can i remove the head unit without breaking my fingers when i dont have the correct tool to do it???Ive been using a very small screwdriver...got it out 3mm one side...now my fingers and hands feel like they got dents in them. any ideas?
Mumble....its not a bad job really....now i know what im doing ill be able to do it again!!.The satisfaction and self accomplishment i felt once everything was back together and the wipers worked properly for the first time in months....it felt brilliant. I sat in that car and just washed the windscreen with the wipers for half an hour.(sad i know).But i had a huge grin on my face!! :blink:
