I dont have vag-com either.....im not techny minded...im a wife/mum to 4 /and know practically nothing about cars!!.But im learning slowly...ive fixed a new MAF, Stripped and cleaned my wiper linkage.(that was fun)..All with the help of peeps on here and neil who lives close enough to answer my cries for help as summit is stuck!! I search on here as there is so much information on here that we could produce a book to rival the haynes manual.....now theres a thought.....hmmmmmm...that could work... The R i am assuming in the tyre number stands for reinforced..heavy load are the same as reinforced..i have heavy load and reinforced tyres on mine. If you had bog standard tyres..then yes if an accident i will assume the insurance will be invalid as they are not made to support a 3 tonne car!!

My hubby damages himself in the car!!! <_< ...He shut the window from the inside once and got his arm stuck...then there was the time he was sat in the drivers seat moving the passenger seat forward and got his hand wedged!!! Yes..i was looking at the dipstick and the hole it came out of and i thought to myself.."how the hell am i supposed to get the oil down that hole?!" :blink: Now what would Bigj do i thought... <_< . So i got a funnel and shoved it in the hole and poured the oil in.As i knew that was how you would do it! ;) And again..i thought of you as i put the dipstick back in the hole where it came from. :D

with the key in the lock..ive never tried it with just pressing the button on the fob :angry: As for checks...someone better than i can tell you those. :blink:

The difference that i physically see is the front of the car..i have no idea if it is different under the bonnet. As for being rare..most of em on here have an auto...so i dont know if your particular car is rare. :blink: A T reg is a mk 1.....(i think) :blink: I f you have global closing , you can open/close windows with key. :angry: By the way..welcome to the forum. :P
