True..i know this topic has wandered a bit but for once im not to blame :ph34r: We as mods will be getting strictor especially in the technical threads about threads going off topic..and banter in the posts that is unnecessary. Yes i know that one problem leads to another..but i could suggest that the problem it leads to could be started in another thread with a link linking it to the original problem....What do you think? I have a feeling i may have to split this topic....havent split one yet so may ask neil to!! <_<

Mine are naffed...been quoted a few hundred to get mine done.that is with taking tyres off and put back on when done..icludes tracking...and alloys done.

considering the state of mine..and the state of the ones on ebay...the ones on ebay are immaculate!!...every time i wash the wheels on my car..more flakes drop off!!..one of them , the laquer has all peeled off.(thanks kids) But i think the ones on ebay look good.

A lot of the newbies do search and use the forum before they actually post on here...some dont.It can be exasperating..(big word for me!!) when they do post a question without searching or start a new thread when there may be already one going. Just a thought here..sexist one at that.....consider this......how many of you (men) actually read a manual/ instruction leaflet before attempting a repair or to build something????(Honest now please).. :ph34r: :D Now think....how many of the newbies do you think will read the forum guidelines before posting??? <_< ...A lot of them may have been searching for answers for a long time/spent tonns of spends on their car...now they have found a site that can help them! Herein lies the problem!!..Some may be too impatient and want/require/need answers asap. I know how relieved i was at finding this site after searching for ages for help...and i must confess that i didnot search when i first joined..I use it all the time now as im sure the newbies will once the adrenaline rush of finding the site has worn off!! :D B) (Appologies to all i have offended by my sexist remarks. :blink: )

I got mine in a hloiday kit from motorsave which was 20 quid..came with loads of other stuff aswell.Car shampoo,cleaner wax, Quik detailer mist and wipe, and endurance high gloss for wheels. Dont know how much it is on its own..But i did the whole car and there is still loads of it left.

Yes, no matter how much i clean the wheels....(and yes they need cleaning!!).....they look like poo as the laquer is flaking off!

YUp.Mine says clear coat safe on it.Thought id give it a go.Bought a whole kit of meguiars stuff.Got the kit from motorsave for 20 quid.

Ok...for once i have not been sat on the forum all day.In between ferrying kids to school and giving mates a lift i have washed the car, then put the above stuff on my car and polished it off..I must say that i am amazed by this product, my whole car looks so different!!!.The only scratches left are the deep ones..No scratches now by the door handles, bonnet,tailgate.The whole body is now looking as good as new...well...nearly!!. Just wanted to say that i find this stuff amazing and i am very impressed!!!.It has taken me a good few hours to do this.I would really recommend this product. :rolleyes: Have yet to wax and polish the car....By the way..they are reflections of the clouds on the car.LOL

Am sure you can get one of the last of the line MKIIs for less than 16k???..Least...the lady i accosted at a boot fair with one which is 2 months old paid that !..Tell you what..makes me sick now to think i paid 15.500 for mine at 18 months old 3 years ago.. :D
