Blimey..3 replies in the time it took me to write my own!... One thing i do not do is let my dog off the lead..never.And one thing i have taught my kids, is that if you see a dog and it is running towards you, do not move.and i have also taught them never to assume that every dog you see is friendly. If i am out with my dog and another runs up then i stand still.my dog is very protective of me and does not like it when another runs up.....there are retractable leads that you can buy..these should be used.The owners soon run up to grab their dog and clip it on a lead.Now my pooch isnt big...about the size of a collie dog and is soft as muck and he has been taught from a pup to take things gently and he is very gentle with the kids, but once a dog has had enough, hes had enough and will soon let you know.in two yrs, mine has never nipped, bit or shown aggression to my kids or any other kids, but i still would not trust him in a room on his own with kids..its called supervision. and anyone with a dog and young kids, will know what i mean.

now im casting my mind a few years.....being in married quarters we have to apply for permission to have a pooch/cat.....now all these dogs and cats have a numbered tag on them so if caught roaming they can be quickly traced to the owner..you can also be evicted if your pet causes a disturbance or is aggressive. I believe all dogs should be registered..and i am a dog owner. Owners should be responsible for their pets... Our last dog turned agreesive after she had a virus that affected her brain...we did the only thing we could do and that was to have her put down, it was heart breaking as we know that it wasnt her nature to do what she did, but the safety of our kids and evryone elses was paramount. WE have had our pooch chipped aswell. Banned breeds should be that..banned, but you will always get peeps having them and they only come to light when something happens to put them in the spotlight.As who will go round checking dogs all the time?to make sure that they are not of a banned breed? To me, it is not the dogs fault if it is aggressive, it is bad ownership, though you do get dogs who will gradually turn aggressive, this could be because of a medical condition or the way they are treated. It is in a dogs nature to be aggressive, but we have tried to tame them..when a dog shows its aggressive side, then it brings home exactly what their nature should be. Im not sure as to what incident this week concerning the three rotties you are referring to as i dont watch telly very much.

Talking about heated screens has just reminded me....brief hijack here....my left wing mirror, the heated bit doesnt work.....elements?..is it on the same fuse as the screen?..just thought id gen up before i go pulling out all the fuses again. :mellow:

I got mine off Mr Ebay, i got the whole set and the bezels aswell..yes was more expensive but as you say, the luxury of coming to your door....Easy to fit aswell. Reminds me......need to do the old ones in pink now ive scraped all the old cover off them ^_^

If you on about the interior, then just use washing up liquid..works a treat.....all you need is a small amount on a cloth and wipe it all over the screen.Ive done it and its damn good......must do the other windows ^_^

if you can, set the cruise control at 68mph......will give much better mpg than 70!..and yes, should do 500 miles on a full tank...didnt read your car details so am assumeing it is a diesel ^_^

adequate condition......the money that is allocated to modernise the houses is usually taken away to fund other things..like the war in iraq....consequently we live with 1950s/70s kitchens, bathrooms with no showers and if you want to put one in you have to ask permission and take it down when you leave...if you repaint the interior then you have to repaint it back to the charming shade of magnolia..where they charge you for repairs if you damage anything....yes..they are supposed to provide accomadation..but not necessarily adequate.....most of the mod property is in such a state of disrepair they are becoming condemned whilst people are living in them!..but they wont move you out as to do so means they have to compensate you.if you demand to move out..then you get nothing as they class it as that you have asked to move. the budget to repair the houses is as minamal as can be.. ok so we pay nominal rate in rent..but that will be increasing to be in line with what you pay in civvy street..but we still get nothing back....a normal repair top a quarter..lets say.......a blocked drain..they have a timescale of 3 months to send someone out to fix it...an emergency...is 6 hours....immediate..48 hours......it took 3 weeks before someone was sent out to remove the wasps nest that was outside our front door in the summer.! living in forces accomadation is so much different to living in civvy street....but the standard of housing has dropped rapidly in the past couple of yrs. um....step off soap box me thinks....sorry!! anyway...will find out tomoz what they plan to do..

Ok...bods turned up half an hour ago and have been doing their thing..Yes have an RDC. What has happened from what i understand, there was an overload in the system which caused a plug to go bang which took out the whole circuit..seemingly all the sockets need changing and all wiring replaced...just been told that they need authorisation to do the work as they were told to do the least amount of work possible as we move in a couple of months and the building will then be left empty.!..fookin marvelous. Was asked what was plugged in at the time upstairs.....3 tellies, 2 playstations and a dvd player..the two tellies and playstations were in sep rooms on extension cables.one extension cable, the plug has black charring inside the plug. Oh well......the fun begins now!! Forgot to add..he said the wiring in this house antiquated and not adequate for the demands placed on it :P

Me thinks you are being taken for a ride....if the temp is lower than 10c then the heater kicks in with a jet engine noise and you will get some smoke... it happens every year and is nothing to worry about.unless the smoke is not white.
