well..i was only waking up......as was suggested before..check the wiper motor on the linkage.

IIRC..the fuses for the wipers are in the main fuse feed box at the front on the top of the engine bay..in a black box....cant miss it..check those.

still half asleep here, but did you check the fuse box in the engine bay?there are two in the engine bay ..IIRC..the main fuse feed box and a silver box one at the back...could there be a short anywhere?..

on the bolt thingy it says...0.55-o.85 bar 038919081C..vw audi. also has the numbers 4 and 05 on.. so i think yes..

mmm..i was in second when i went skidding....thank god i stopped before i went into the main road..that wouldnt have been pretty as it is busy and fast.

well the old one is covered in crap...so i cant see very well..will know more when i take the covers off in the morning....but new one ..the shroud is brown.has a whote dot on it..dunno what that is for..when i find my camera i will take a pic.

Ok..thanks for that..its just that what gets me is that last time the oil press warning came on..i topped it up after checking it and the level was low...but after topping up the oilcan light went off...but it hasnt this time...but it was a diff warning..oil level

Oil level on dipstick says just above MAX..I checked it this morning.. No more oil leak that i can see...

Check oil level is still on.as is the little oil can warning. what now? should i change the pressure switch? or should i get a level one that you showed me littledaz?

Believe me..i wont do it again, the road went from slush..to what looked like snow but was compact snow/ice which i didnt know.Lesson learnt.expensive one as i have a tyre with a damaged sidewall now..so its another tyre required.

i know but i panicked.Id never driven in snow before and i was going slow..i stopped yards from the main road...i'm trying not to think of what may have happened if i hadnt.

Ok..now im calm.....can let you know what happened to me on way to school....i lost control of the car at 15mph going round a bend on my estate..i went to steer to the right and the car went straight on in a skid..i panicked and kept steering to the right....car hit the kerb with a hell of a bang..went into the middle of the road..gained a bit of traction so i steered left and skidded back into the kerb with another bang and stopped with the car at an angle..to say i was shaken is an understatement.Kids thought it was great..but i had to get out of the car i was shaking that bad.initial inspection shows no damage..but i havent fully checked the car out..going for a fag now.
