error 5.....means refer to your ford dealership......if you do then they will charge loads of money to send it away for weeks on end to get it fixed...or was that error 3? ill have a search for you..in fact..got my handbook here..2 ticks.. ah yes..error 5=internal fault. i ended up gettign a new one.

Welcome ricky.. Have you checked wiring to see if there is a break or a short? Im not sure if a higher fuse rateing is needed.. just had a gander in my manual..it says a 10amp one is the correct fuse rating for the electric mirrors and windows..

Hmmm..i dont have a V6..but i thought the MAF going made the car sluggish not back fire or pop?
