Thank you.i was more concerned about the window than anything else but that was the easy part, also putting the regulator in was easy..it was just that seal as it is such a tight fit.ended up having to drop the window in the door as far as it could go..then put the two "legs" of the seal into the door as far as you can without stripping the rubber off them with the metal of the door, then press the two ends onto the ridge where they go, then keeping them in place which is very hard, push the lot up.the two lads were doing those whilst i had a flat bladed screwdriver making sure the seals stayed in place and didnt fold over. Its strength you need more than anything and it is hard. Now i know the mistakes i made..and the conclusion i came to..id do it again. Only thing is now i discovered last night, when i lock the car, the lock on that door locks after all the others.so i think the locking cable is a bit lax, so i will have to at some stage sort that out.

OI..i edited the post i did last night as even i couldnt read it.LMAO.

Here is the new regulator installed. That was the easy bit.I have since come to the conclusion that you dont need to remove the window to either replace the motor or put a new reg in. When i put this seal back on, i had a few probs.I couldnt get it on properly and i tried for an hour.I ended up taking the car to fords and it took 2 lads half an hour to put it back on.This seal is the hardest thing to put back on. Door all reassembled!and the window works! At the top of the window you can see the seal which is a bit kinked, this is where i kinked it and had to try and hammer out the kinks carefully. Not perfect but i will sort it out another day.

A medical profesor at a posh Medical school was lecturing his students in the field of involuntary muscle contractions, to lighten up the rather dull topic the profesor asked a student the following question, Sarah, for example do you know what your @sshole is doing whilst you are having an orgasm? She replied, Yes, he's normally in the pub with his mates

I would go for a silver calcium battery....but thats me.They can be more expensive though. As that is wht i requested when i bought my current one up in the shetlands.Guy in the garage had to have it shipped over specially as he just whacked normal acid batteries in cars.He did try and talk me into getting an acid one but i stuck to my guns.even took my manual in to show him.lol

V6 Oilpressure & Level Sensing
mumof4 replied to 28vr6's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
can i just add...thay when i did mine..peeps on here werent sure if mine had one..(a level sensor)..as no one could find it on the TIS .Was only when i went to Fords to see and order one that it was confirmed for def that it had one.Soooo..it might be worth ringing/going to see them to see if it does have one and see if they will give you the schematic that shows where it is if it does? still bear in mind that mines a diesel though!!.Must admit..that if i didnt have the illustration i wouldnt have known what i was looking for. -
V6 Oilpressure & Level Sensing

Hmmm..........you replaced the pressure sensor yes?..try the battery method as i think that when i changed my pressure sensor, if i had disconnected my battery then, the oil can would have gone out.As it didnt go out even after changing the level sensor..then i disconnected the battery then it went out. so i still would try disconnecting the battery for a few mins.about 10 mins i think it needs. How do you know it has a wiring fault? -
oho...you'll get jumped on for calling it a bus!! :) What probs you got then? What you doing out in the Stan if you dont mind me asking?
