Fuel on bottom of red...ran her the last time earlier before i started drinking..took her for a good long spin ....gonna miss her.What good will the spare tyre do me?cant put it on the vecta.LOL. Manual etc all covered in oil and well thumbed so no point putting them in the Gal...Ah well...Nothing i can do about.Shes a damn good runner..cosmetically she is battered...but by god can she fly..and that i will miss.I hate to see her go...one day..i will get another. Ok...new cat fitted on the vectra and she passed with no advisories.Reason she failed the emissions was that the cat was empty!.its supposed to be filled with honeycomb whatever it is.Soo..shes had 2 new front springs, new cat and everything else is tip top!..Couple of spots of rust to sort out on the wheel arches, considering on how much work they have done on her to get her thru the mot as the cat was the last resort..i think i got a hell of a bargain.Shes lovely...but not a patch on the gal...The cat itself cost 150 quid....and..bonus which i didnt realise..is that it already has a cd player in it.LOL.

If the light doesnt flash.but its locked..i think either an electrical problem, or an immobiliser fault.Might be worth seeing if you can see if there are any faults recorded by diagnostic/vag-com?

New cat on order..should arrive in the morning.Everything else is ok...so hes changing the cat to see if that will make the emissions pass.

He is.....nay me.but i have authority to deal with it.....when i hand her back as i know it will come to that...they will chase him for the balance outstanding after she is sold at auction.Then it will be nowt to do with me.I just want to know if there was any way the debt can be written off..i mean..4 yrs of paying for her...1 yr to go..well and the 6 months he defaulted coz hes a twerp, it just feels like its money down the drain.

I pick her up this friday..they are putting her thru the MOT and correcting/replaceing anything that needs doing..when i rang before, they were working on her..they have find a pipe that is split which they are replaceing, they are also checking everything else.I dont have to pay for any work they do or any parts they replace.

I'm too honest..cant do that to her...I know..its just a car...but i worked damn hard on her..

Finance company have rejected the settlement offer of 4k as it was outside the 7 day period it was open..they now want the total balance of 6.5k...nothing less... just waiting to hear back from a solicitor to see if there is anything that can be done..otherwise..she will be handed back. :ph34r: :( :( :(
