  1. I am sure some of our more technical members will advise soon. It may be helpful to others if you include a signature of your car details.
  2. As a rule, all systems will cycle on/off depending on the conditions fed by the various sensors. Could be a faulty sensor or a lack of R134a When did you last have the system drained/re-filled? I would suggest to keep costs in the first instance would be a DIY pressure test/refil kit. Halfords do the or this place is ok. Car AC supplies
  3. Not rained for weeks, decided to cycle to give cold weld on wiper mounting an extra day. Guess what its now raining rain
  4. Yes MO4, I agree you use moneysupermarket & Confused, they initially come up with good prices but when you select them they go sky high. Makes me laugh with Morethan as happy chap has a Gal. I think Insurance should be more like 'pay as you go' as today I have cycled to work!!

  12. I could never work out why the S had them & the SE didn't.
  13. I thought the SE had parking sensors?
  14. Spindles stripped yesterday, drivers side not too bad but passenger side totally seized & has broken off . My friend reckons once un-seized he can cold weld it back. If not will require new unit. Anyway he has left me with a working drivers side for now. Where can I source a replacement if can't be repaired pref new if poss. This guy offers refurb service Ebay wiper refurb
  15. I had exactly same problem everything was replaced under warranty until i got SEAT involved & went to another dealer who replaced collector/dryer which had corroded connections to condenser.

  20. Handbook says reserve is 8 litres so if it does happen I work off about 8 miles per litre which is about the combined figure.
  21. Lid on centre storage bin has stopped popping up. Will lift up OK. I guess a spring has gone? I noticed 2 torx screws at the back. Any advice Cheers
