steve67car replied to a topic in I.C.E (In Car Entertainment) Discussion

get that feeling in most fwd cars, you cant beat right foot down rse out out off trouble feel that a rwd car gives you but as most main manufactures all seam to go fwd well lose that option :)
-
you cross dress too  :)

fair play but just a quick note to try save you some time. but if read properly you will have problems with the gps as they can not read through metal or carbon fibre. and you mounted yours under the head lining and just you know been fitting sat navs for about 10 years now and also thats why renault driver need a ext aerial cause of the metal in their wind screens other than that looking good

thinking of selling the shazza but like the space and the flexabily of the seats so if you were changing what would you go for ? at the moment i have a 51 plate 2.0 petrol shaz did 3200 miles in her last year. only has 46k also have a t4 (trainspoter)transporter so was thinking along the lines of a t5 sportsline transporter derived bus so i could have just one car/van but still have a cool looking bus but have space as well so there you go what would you have instead of the old bus pls not your dream car as aston martin dont do people carriers with db9 v8 lumps in them (well if i won the lottery they may build it for me lol)

sorry to hear of your dilema but hes a taxi driver works nights not gonna be easy but he needs his sleep so grind him down with relentless phone calls as he clearly states money back in his ad if not happy that is legally binding i know you are thinking about yourself and the kids but any grief he may/maynot give you aint nothing compered to what you have already gone through what about the ex will he not help out finally i would invest some of the rest of the money with some one i know to try to persuade the low life its the right thing to do in making the situation right ( wink wink) we are with you on this awkward dilema

one thing no one does is take a cd/tape or md and check it works we all turn radio on but what about the other parts of the audio also test drive with all noisy items off radio heater (even on a cold day )but make sure it does work while car is stationary also leave heater of and see if car over heats as with heater on the car runs cooler also make sure car is cold when you get there as noises disappear when warm once got to a car i was interested in at 5 am to make sure it was proper cold cause a 6 grand plus engine rebuild on a car you paid 12k for aint funny ( car was a 3 door cossie ) ;)

Window Tinting Help Needed Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee
steve67car replied to a topic in Customising your Ford Galaxy
? a ported box needs to be twice the size of a sealed ? not true and as for a single 12 in a ported box sounding twice as a double 12 in a sealed box again not true what is true is that a sub is only as good as the box that it is designed to be in e.g buy a vibe 12 " (yes it comes in a ported box ) take it out put in a std carpeted sealed 12 " from your hi fi specailist and it will sound ok but and its a big BUT it will not sound as good as it did in the vibe ported box and again not because its the ported box but because vibe spend a lot of time and money on development :excl: so make sure the sub is in the right type and size box  measure twice build once -
just buy a hi to lo convertor solder in line and there you have it pre outs on your radio for a costing of above a tenner if not sure where to get them i can supply for
