i would have used std ford to iso(galaxy one if req) and done away with the factory amp why i hear you ask simply the replacement head unit out put is between 40 and 60 watts per channel the factory amp is about 17 watts also connects 2 have a stearing remote adpt for about

just checked and mine aint reinforced tried to find a set of 225/40/18 and 245/35/18 on rear and cant find low profiles in reinforced and i think there the same on mates 750 bmw and his aint and there aint much in it for weight differance so is it not manufacturers playing safe for type approval and the likes :P
