  1. When it's flashing a fault code will be stored for the HVAC which could be low gas pressure.
  2. You wish :P
  3. These buttons are for the cruise control Res = Resume previous set speed Set = Set Speed + = Increase speed - = Decrease Speed
  4. Oh don't be nasty Greg she's lovely
  5. Advise getting battery tested if it's still the original, low battery volts causes all sorts of issues
  6. Yep MAF or wiring , MAF doesn't always give a fault code unless you run the car with it disconnected. Turbo will normally give pos or neg deviation
  7. A thing of beauty is a joy forever :P
  8. Here goes then, me and my youngest on her wedding day 3 months ago
  9. Now where did I put those photo's of M just to jog the old memory :25:
  10. If I was you I would get that changed ASAP
  11. Hi Victor So has your car covered a total of 55.000 and it's still on the original belt? if it's the original it's overdue Just to remind you. 04-2000 to 05-2003 40.000mls or 5 years Belt & rollers 06-2003 to 03-2006 60.000mls or 5 years Belt Only " " 120.000mls or 10 years Belt & Rollers
  12. An old neighbour of mine has just got a sedona off of ebay, done a few jobs on it then test drove it and was quite impressed also roomy inside, although it's a 2.9 diesel it didn't seem overly more powerful than the galaxy.
  13. Good God is this another flying visit :16: :16:
  14. Having had the MK3 now for nearly two years still not convinced it's a better car but bare in mind the MK1&2 is really a VW and the MK3 is totally Ford. No spare on galaxy or s-max, in reality never needed one in my ten years of galaxy's. MPG is not better in fact going by the computer 37 to 38 and that's driving really miserly, start using the power and this reduces drastically. Steering is very precise on the MK3 (electronic power steering) The ride is not so good on bad roads, suspension is much firmer on MK3 We went for the six speed manual box because I'm not that keen on the powershift auto but with hindsight it may have been better choice as I can really struggle to reverse up my driveway without stalling it especially when loaded up, seems reverse gear ratio is to high, OK if you want to do 40 MPH in reverse lol Personally if I had the choice I would prefer a new MK2 as I think the overall experience and drive is better. Don't let that put you off this is only my opinion have some test drives before deciding.
  15. This is only for MK3 vehicles, just noticed DoctorStar posted in the MK2 section, I'm sure Greg will move it across :)
  16. Welcome to the forum. Sounds like the feature is enabled, to open all doors with the fob press and hold both lock and unlock buttons together for a few seconds the indicators should flash to confirm, you should then be able to open all doors as normal. Flashing light usually indicates a fault on system
  17. Don't like to disagree with Seatkid but I would say no,1 028103491J or no,1a 028103491M depending on engine number. You will probably have more luck at a VW dealer than Ford
  18. The Ebay link is a 110ps with the AG4 4speed auto
  19. iirc that's what Fords call relay 30 as already suggested.
  20. Are you sure it's not coming from the alternator clutch pulley?
  21. Have you followed these instructions. http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php/topic/8401-checking-wires-from-door-to-pillar/?do=findComment&comment=64104
  22. Welcome Was they binding before you changed discs and pads
  23. Now you can make a note of those codes then clear the codes, once you done that take car for a drive and then recheck see if the same faults return. 17552 could be from running the engine with MAF disconnected. 17964 is underboost which could be a leak in the air charge pipe work or damaged intercooler or maybe perished vacuum pipework on the boost control N75 valve, turbo actuator or vanes stuck
  24. Welcome. Probably broken/chaffed wiring in the rubber door gaiters (common problem) also tailgate can have similar wiring problems see links below may help you. http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php/topic/8401-checking-wires-from-door-to-pillar/?do=findComment&comment=64104 http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php/topic/10371-galaxy-door-boot-wiring-inspection-repair/?do=findComment&comment=82231
