Hi all and a happy new year, I have a little problem with the breaks at the moment and was hoping someone can help. I booked the car in for a service and was told that the front discs where warped and need replacing. I didn't have them done at fords but at a Tyre and break place in Dagenham called Elites. I did notice before having them done that now and again when pushing the break pedal that it felt like nothing was happening and that you wasn't going to stop, so i was hoping that when i had them replaced this was going to stop, but its still doing it. It happens more when going slowly and when i go to stop at a junction or roundabout. The rest of the time they are fine like they are working properly. I had the discs and pads changed, i have had a look at them and noticed that the discs have score marks on them and i get some squealing when stopping, do you think these disc might be warped as well. thanks peeps

Hi Jonny75, I have a 1998 110bhp Galaxy same as you. Shame i didn't know you was looking for one as I'm putting mine up for sale. I have twin electrics and the fixed tow bar and no you don't need to cut the bumper, but you will need to remove it and take out the black moulded bit inside the bumper. Mine was done by a tow bar company

Update...I have taken the fuse-board forward now and can get my hand behind and can fit the module behind, Now what is the best way to connect the wires. Should i use the connectors that came with the kit or strip some of the plastic away from the wires and the connect there and cover with tape

Hi all, I have just ordered the remotes. Is it as easy as it looks to fit, i hope so. After years of the remote locking not working and trying to reprogram them i gave up and use the key to open/lock the car, but the o/s lock is now playing up, ie- can unlock but wont turn to lock, so i hope theses remotes work. Will let you know how i get on
