Actually, there is a public footpath that runs through Billing Aquadrome, and because of this admission is free for people on foot. Obviously if you are camping or want to park inside the Aquadrome the you have to pay. If anyone wants to attend and not take their car in then let me know on this thread and I will post a map showing where you can park close by and walk in. -
Brake Fluid
Masked Marauder replied to sharanthing's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
Yes, you fill the big bottle with clean fluid, put the cap on the reservoir and connect the air line to a reduced pressure spare wheel. You then simply get a glass jar, put a clear pipe (in the kit) onto the bleed nipple and open the nipple and let the fluid come through until the new fluid is coming out the clear pipe. You then repeat for the other wheels making sure the bottle is kept topped up between wheels. Finally finish off with the clutch if you have one. Obviously do not reuse the fluid from the jar. -

Volvo did a test with windows and air con and concluded that the air con option was 5% more fuel efficient. All Volvo heavy trucks now come with climate control as standard for that reason. Also MO4, watch for uneven front tyre wear. Excessive toe, particularly out, can cause a sizable drop in MPG. Look for accelerated wear on the inside or outside edges of your front tyres.

I changed my CV joint, on my drive, in a little over an hour and that was stopping half way for a cup of tea. I would want a full explaination from the dealer. And I can not see how removing the engine as a unit and then replacing it would cause a mis-fire. You don't touch any of the engine components, just undo the connectors and fuel lines, exhaust and vacuum pipes etc, and drop it out the bottom.

More like dry anti-roll bar bushes that you don't hear creaking because the knocking from the links drowns it out!

Well last night I averaged 8.4 MPG in a vehicle that he manufacturer says should return 8.9 MPG. I do get 50+ MPG in my Bammer on a long long motorway run. The only sure way to tell is to brim the tank, do a full tank's woth of mileage and then brim the tank and from there calculate how much fuel you have used. I certainly would not trust the computer to work it out.

It is possible, but white smoke is incomplete combustion. That is the issue with the booster too, the way it burns the fuel can cause incomplete combustion. As for the turbo being the cause of the problem, I have never known that myself. That does not mean I am saying it can not happen. Every time I have seen white smoke that smells of paraffin from the exhaust it has been a problem with the pump or valve timing or the valves themselves. Your of course has unit injectors, not a pump as such. But unless there is an issue with a unit injector firing late (I can not see how that is happening either) then I can not see how the timing could only be out sometimes. The only thing that I can think of that would cause that could be an exhaust valve occasionally not closing properly.

Mac are going to be realising a range of I-Pods with it built in from the Autumn, as yet it is still not legal to use a very short range FM transmitter in the UK though!

It is some hardware designed to read any fault codes from your VW/Audi/SEAT car into your PC so you can rectify the fault. It is a computer diagnostic system.

I was referring to the "or similar" option chap! You can buy little RF transmitters for everything now! For example the Belkin Tunecast II http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/P/B0001F22PA.01._AA280_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg

Easiest option is to read any fault codes off with VAG-COM, if nothing logged you need to start chasing the wiring.... But you do realise the fusebox is multi-layered, so you may not have found the right fuse or relay.
