Hi all I have cadac gas bbq comes with bbq rack, double sided non stick grill plate, a smaller rack to put a saucepan on and a length of gas hose,all fits into carrycase. Some of the non stick has worn away from the grill plate, this is common on the cadacs. All in good woking order Asking

Hi All, today while driving the glowplug light has started flashing at the same time the bulb failiure light also came on. I now have no brake lights, bulbs have been checked as they were renewed for the mot only two weeks ago. I have been reading a few of the threads on the forum and this seems a common thing to have happen. What I need to know is whats actually wrong for this to happen. Do I need new glowplugs and a new brake switch or one or the other????Someone anyone please help... Regards Swifty..

Hi all, can anyone tell me what the small yellow plug on the stereo wiring is for? it seems to join the loom with the speaker wires. I did notice that when the plug was pulled out there was a sound from the fuse box as though its connected to a relay. Many thanks Swifty

I to have the same thing happening with my aircon unit at startup. Had it sealed and regassed a few months ago and it blows nice and cold does this mean I need to have the Gal put onto vag com to clear some sort of error in the system?

Hi all Im about to replace the front speakers in the gal and have a problem, one of the small speakers which are on the top of the dash has blown, if I fit two way speakers in the doors will I have to sort out the blown speaker and if so how do you get to it? Thanks Swifty.

I also had this problem until I towed my 1500kg caravan. After a few limps Ive had no more trouble definately needs a good blast with some kind of extra weight. Caravan is now for hire...Alot cheaper than going to a garage.... Regards Swifty

I tow with a detachable tow bar with an alko hitch no problems wot so ever.As mentioned above the detachable is longer then a standard tow bar and is fine. Swifty.

Hi all I have my Gal 1.9tdi x reg mkii booked in for cambelt change with my mechanic. Should I be able to go to vw and buy a cambelt kit? I have spoke to vw parts dept and theyve told me they cant do it because the engine no for the ford is a different code to what they use on there system. Should I give up and just go to frauds. Only asking as Ive read on the forum of people buying parts from vw. Regards Swifty.
