Can You Identify This

Hiya. This part sheered off on my VW Sharan 1.8T - 2000. Have bodged it with a bit of hose pipe and cable tie but have no idea what it's called and where I can get one. Any ideas.???

It looks like part of the air conditioning.

I have to agree with the previous post that it's for the air conditioning. It's the main pipe onto the compressor. The 7m number is the part number - check the price because I think a new one will be quite expensive!

I believe, as above it's for the aircon, probably the expansion valve/muffler on the low pressure side, return to compressor.

You cannot bodge these pipes/hoses you will need to replace with the correct part, as already said the part number is there, and yes they are expensive.

If you decide to go ahead once the pipes been replaced you will need to have the system pressure tested and if OK regassed.
